Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 5: LECTURES BEGIN

Amy after that battle decides decides to go hit the showers, taking her bath and gets herself well dressed for class. It was her first class ever since coming and she wasn't really expecting it this early but she had to go. She finishes preparing herself and takes her leave locking the door behind her. Amy knowing she's late for class wanting to reach early moves quickly and finds an elevator and decides to rush in. She pushes the button and her looking at her phone walks in pacingly after the door opens only to have another encounter with Felix. They both bumped into each other and with a deep stare and little bit of eye contact they looked at each other with the encounter seeming a bit weird. Amy actually makes eye contact with Felix and she actually recognizes human beauty at it's peak staring into Felix's blue eyes along with his white hair and attractive facial structure. "Uhmm coming through" Felix says returning back Amy's focus as for that moment her mind got caught of a little."Oh sorry" Amy stretches her tone with her cheeks turning a little bit red. They still stare at each other for a few seconds as Felix walks past the door."That was awkward and weird a little bit" Felix comments on what happened between him and Amy a few moments ago. Amy still in the elevator gets a little bit relieved after Felix left. In a long time she had not felt anything like that towards anyone so it became weird and felt someway but she needed not to think about it because she had different things like a class to attend. She walks through the hallway in the block where her class is located and surprisingly she walks in the class to find a few number of people around. Even though the time they were given to arrive to class was years past and people were not around. Not pleasing for a first class but there was no lecturer or teacher around to even say anything. She wasn't ready to sit in class hanging around doing nothing. But in a minute later people started walking in and their walking and chattering among themselves could show most weren't ready for class. The school being such a prestigious school it was pretty hard to believe what Amy was seeing or was it because it was the first time they were having class. She had an empty seat near her and very unexpectedly someone very familiar came to occupy that seat. Amy takes her earphone out of her ears only to be shocked by what she was seeing. "What the" Amy pauses shocked and continues by saying "How are we in the same class, that means we do the same programme". "I don't know I guess fate is bringing us together" Felix states . Amy gets a completely different thought about what Felix says getting a completely negative feeling but she didn't think too much about it . Actually what Felix meant was that her being close with him almost wherever they find themselves is going to make his work more easier. The class was a little noisy a bit and then suddenly the one who was suppose to to take them through their class period entered in. But she just came to teach them for like thirty to forty minutes and gave them an assignment for them to do. "I heard that the students who got the highest scores in the entrance test are in this class" . The class becomes stunned by the teacher's statements. They start turning over to each other asking questions trying to find out those the madam was talking . "They're Amy Whitaker and Felix Kyle,those are the students I am talking about" The madam states. And I would like it if you guys could reveal yourself to the whole class. Amy and Felix both lay low for a while not wanting to reveal themselves to the class. But the facilitator kept on calling so they had no choice but to go and reveal themselves to the whole class. Amy rose up and walked up to the madam and Felix also followed after her. The madam then fixes her glaze at the both of them. "Don't you guys see that they would go pretty well as couples or something" the madam teases and the class erupts in noise over what the madam said and it did seem pretty true too. Amy and Felix had that type of connection between them that if you see them together you might think they are couples or something. Felix's handsomeness along with Amy's beauty matched perfectly which actually made a lot of people in the class think them being a couple matched perfectly. "You know you guy's can contest for the upcoming couples of the week in a few weeks time". The madam teased with the class questioning her statement about what the couples of the week but then realizing that Valentines day will be next week Friday. The teacher then continued to do what she actually came to do which was to teach them the course Fluid Mechanics which was a branch of physics that deals with the study of liquids and gases. She gave a list of topics they were to study and she decided to today with the basics but she had a long period so she was able to get over it. And she started with the real deal. All this while during teaching she was so focused on Amy and Felix knowing they were smart. The whole class had now got to know them and they even and teased them as couples as if they are truly in a relationship. The madam continued with the lesson. She tried to test the class. It wasn't really going well and she called out to Amy and Felix and since she considered them the smartest in the class she set them up with the questions the class was struggling to answer even adding more tough ones and Felix answered them brilliantly and easily as if he had already ahead of the basics and he actually was. Amy on the other hand struggling with some few questions and had help from Felix. "Wow that was pretty great I never expected you to be this brilliant" The madam said shocked at Felix's brilliance. "You know you might be even smarter than your current level" The madam praised and hinted out to the class that some of the questions were a bit above their current level. She wanted to test them out since it was part of the assessment given to teachers to start with the freshers and but she had taken it a little bit farther but Felix was able to hold his own brilliantly. Even though he never wanted things to look like that because he always wanted to be cool with no pressure around him but it was too late for that. Some of the class members triend to challenge the madam to prove that they shouldn't be left out on the smartest by making proofs some of her questions were wrong but it didn't really do anything and it couldn't catch her off guard. " Try to prove yourselves better next time you know rather than making a wrong challenge" The madam stated and it had led those students into silence and it made them feel a little bit disgraced. The madam then finished the lesson and everyone started rushing out the instant tge lesson finished. Felix always cool and composed hung his bag on one side of his arm and pocketed and calmly made his way through the door after they everyone dispersed without a trace. Amy approached him and said "so you're Felix Kyle". "I knew you were called Felix but I never even thought once that it was you who got that perfect score" Amy continues. "So it means your sister is the Mia girl right" Amy asks and Felix responds by saying "No, the last time you saw us there she had approached me". "But you guys have the same last name ,same hair like everything about you guys should show you guys are siblings". "Yeah funny right. I guess we're lost siblings or something" Felix responds to Amy's statement with a small laugh and a smile which lasted for seconds. He instantly switched back to his normal nonchalant look the same instant he put that smile on his face. With no known lessons for the day he decided to go to their room and rest for a while as he didn't want any attention and wanted to be alone. The time went more faster than usual as it it was on a hot chase and a lot of students wanted it to be so because it had seemed like everything was moving at a very slow pace and you know everyone just wanted everything to come about quickly because school was a bit stressful and especially in a university where you are bound by yourself and you are the only one facing the pressure. So a lot of students would like to get out of this quick. Felix on the other hand didn't really care about that and remained calm as always and sincethis wasn't really his main focus he wasn't really struck by the pressure the other students faced. He had other important things to deal with. Something school can't guarantee any good effect on since they were issues and situations way beyond what people tend to see or hear. He had to focus more on his primary goal of stopping the enemy which meant he would be going on the battle fronts soon enough with his sister so they had to be ready and prepared at all costs. The day had gone pretty fast and the moonlight illuminated brightly on the school grounds and the the way the school was seated under the bright moonlight gave it a intricate view. "Hmm today ended pretty fast don't u think" Amy speculates trying to create a conversation. You would think Amy was pretty interested more about Felix but speaking to Felix was the last thing she would do. It's just that the whole day had been boring for her so she had a last option and she didn't really see Felix as someone not to talk to so she didn't mind. She even liked how calm Felix was but she thought the his ability to socialise needed more room for improvement. "Yeah I don't really know about that one. It seemed kinda normal" Felix responds with a yawn and a sigh after. "Anyways I'm going to sleep so tomorrow, have a good night' Felix wishes. "You know you don't have to run away from a conversation like that" Amy says with a straight look on her face. "Huhh, I'm a bit confused here right now" Felix says as he scratches his head in confusion. "I thought you would know I just wanted to talk with or something that's why I popped out with that question from nowhere but I guess u are not interested" Amy states making Felix react by saying why he didn't know and that he wasn't really an interactive or communicative type of person. "I know you lack social skill, almost anyone who stayed with you for this long will know that. It's just that easy to see" Amy explains. "I myself I'm not really good with interacting with people but yours is really something just beyond being a plain introvert" Amy states. For Felix learning human ways without him actually being a human was such a drag but he knew he would learn it eventually all he needed to do was to take his time and be patient. "So I guess you would help me out or something" Felix suggests and Amy tells him she can't really give that much help because I'm not really too different from you but it's just that I have better interaction skills but I can make it up to you so don't worry at all" Amy says telling Felix she's ready to help whenever he needs it. "Well time to hit the bed" Felix yawns ."Goodnight Amy" Felix says shutting his eyes the moment his body lay on the bed.
