Chapter 64 - "Just a Warm-Up: The Multiverse Trembles."

-----

-----

Son Goku was about to argue back, but the sudden spike of tension in the video hit him like a magnet. The moment the atmosphere shifted, his instincts as a battle junkie took over. Every ounce of his attention locked onto the screen.

The camera angle flipped, cutting behind Goku.

A crowd flashed by, faces both familiar and strange: Tien Shinhan, Yamcha, Krillin, and Piccolo.

But two figures stood out. One was a cold-eyed, handsome man. The other was a young boy with the same golden hair as the "yellow-haired Goku" on screen.

"Hey! That's us!"

Tien and Yamcha blurted in unison, staring wide-eyed at their future selves. Krillin blinked in disbelief. He hadn't expected to see himself involved in a battle like that.

"Wait… does that mean the Goku in this video is really our Goku?" Krillin asked, glancing at the man beside him.

Master Roshi nodded slowly. "If nothing unexpected happens, this is probably a glimpse of the disaster you'll face in the future.

But… Super Saiyan… Goku, you've seriously never heard of that before?"

Goku scratched his head and shook it. "Nope. I have no clue what a Super Saiyan is."

"Will everyone shut up and keep watching!"

Bulma's sharp shout cut through the room, instantly silencing the heated chatter. She could already sense Chi-Chi reaching her breaking point.

If these battle-obsessed idiots kept going, Chi-Chi might just tear Bulma's house down.

Under Bulma's iron glare, everyone fell quiet and turned back to the glowing screen.

On-screen, Goku took a classic fighting stance. Across from him, Cell stood poised, ready.

In the next instant, two overwhelming auras erupted skyward like twin volcanoes, colliding midair. The sheer force twisted the air itself, visible distortion rippling through space.

The ground beneath them shattered instantly. Cracks split outward in every direction. The pressure was so intense it felt like it was pushing through the screen, pressing down on the real-world viewers.

Everyone watching froze in shock.

"That aura… it's terrifying! Goku, you get that strong in the future?!"

Krillin could barely breathe. He already couldn't match Goku now, but the Goku in this video was hundreds—no, thousands—of times stronger than he was.

Goku's eyes gleamed with pure excitement. The power on display set his blood on fire.

Then the fight exploded.

They moved so fast they were nothing but afterimages.

In a blink, Goku and Cell collided.

Knee strike. Elbow smash. Sweeping kick. Crushing punch.

In less than five seconds, they traded dozens of savage attacks and counters.

Boom!

Goku's fist smashed square into Cell's face. Cell answered immediately with a vicious side kick that sent Goku flying.

They separated.

And both of them were smiling.

"Son Goku," Cell said coldly, smirking, "if this is all you've got, there's no need to continue."

Goku grinned right back, eyes blazing. He didn't care about the taunt. All he cared about was the chance to fight someone strong enough to push him to the edge of life and death.

They charged again. Every collision unleashed shockwaves that ripped the battlefield apart.

The World of Naruto – Land of Lightning

Night had fallen in the Land of Lightning. The Raikage, A, sat in his office, face dark as he watched the screen. He'd just finished his duties when the mysterious channel he followed updated.

The content left a shadow in his heart.

As a master of taijutsu, he could track every subtle exchange between Goku and Cell.

He asked himself honestly: If I faced those two monsters… I wouldn't last three moves.

He prided himself on his speed and power. But compared to them, he felt like a child waving his fists.

"No… if this were all there was, that uploader wouldn't make a separate video."

Raikage A frowned deeply. His instincts told him this wasn't their full strength. Not even close.

Something far more terrifying was still waiting.

But he didn't dare skip ahead. A battle between extreme hand-to-hand masters like this was priceless. Even he could learn from it.

Konoha Village

In the dead of night, Might Guy was still training.

Upside down, sweat soaking the ground, he watched the projection of Goku and Cell's battle.

He was shaken to his core.

So this was the true peak of martial arts?

Their power surpassed what he'd believed was the limit of taijutsu.

"This… this is youth!!"

Tears streamed down his face.

If he could become as strong as them… would he edge closer to the true summit of martial arts?

He didn't know. But now he had a higher goal. His horizon had expanded.

"Yosh! Then tonight I train even harder!"

The Blue Beast roared into the night. If those warriors endured unimaginable hardship to reach that level, he had no excuse to slack off.

His target? The sea of stars.

The World of One Piece – Marine Headquarters

Fleet Admiral Sengoku sat with a heavy expression. The moment the video updated, every high-ranking Marine not on a mission was summoned.

After only a short while, the meeting room fell silent.

Another pair of beings they had no hope of matching…

"In this vast universe, monsters like these are everywhere," Sengoku sighed. "It's enough to make you despair."

First there had been Saitama. Then the Saints. Now this new pair: Super Saiyan and Cell.

Their destruction might not look as exaggerated yet… but Sengoku felt it in his bones. They were just warming up.

Smoker broke the silence. "The new Marine training camps are fully prepared. The first intake list is finalized. Officer reform is moving steadily."

"And Whitebeard? Shanks?" Vice Admiral Tsuru asked.

"No movement. We haven't been able to track them."

Tracking a top-tier pirate crew on the open sea was like finding a needle in the ocean.

Sengoku spoke firmly. "We wait. Whitebeard won't hide forever. The moment we get confirmed intel, the extermination plan begins."

Tsuru nodded, eyes returning to the screen.

Watching these otherworldly battles wasn't meaningless. The combat techniques Goku and Cell displayed were peak-level fundamentals the Marines had long neglected.

Too many relied entirely on Devil Fruits, focusing on ability development while ignoring the refinement of basic combat skills.

That was why masters of Haki without Devil Fruits could still rival ability users.

They had the perfect example: "Hero of the Marines," Monkey D. Garp.

A staunch anti–Devil Fruit advocate. Yet one of the finest fighters alive.

"Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi is fully mastered, but his personal combat skill is just as terrifying. We must learn from other worlds. Adapt. Improve."

That was Tsuru's order after the Saint Seiya video.

The Marines had to innovate to survive the new era.

Back to the battle.

After countless exchanges, Goku and Cell landed on the ground at the same time.

Cell smiled confidently, his voice metallic and grating.

"Son Goku… how about we end the warm-up here?"

Goku burst into laughter, eyes shining.

"Yeah! I was thinking the same thing. Warm-up's done!"

The words hit like a thunderclap.

Everyone watching felt their breath stop.

The earth-shattering clash they'd just witnessed—enough to rip apart space and pulverize stars in their eyes—

And that was just… a warm-up?

What kind of insane opening statement was that?

The World of One Punch Man

Inside the Hero Association's S-Class meeting room, the atmosphere froze.

Saitama, the Caped Baldy, felt something ignite inside him.

Through the dimensional screen, the pressure from Goku and Cell made every cell in his body scream.

This overwhelming… suffocating pressure.

He had never felt anything like it.

His instincts roared.

This is it.This is what I've been waiting for.

"Sensei… what's happening to you?" Genos froze, his titanium eyes struggling to process what he was seeing.

The Saitama he knew was always calm. Almost bored. Even during the Saint Seiya footage, he'd only shown mild interest.

But now?

This was different. This was hunger. Like parched earth craving rain.

Saitama's gaze swept across the S-Class heroes. No more restraint.

The overwhelming aura he usually kept sealed in "normal mode" burst out like a prehistoric beast breaking free.

The power on screen had lit a fire in him.

In that moment, he had only one thought.

Go all out.

Fight someone like that with everything he had.

Even if the opponent was himself. Even if the end of that fight meant death.

He wouldn't hesitate.

"So… this is how Boros felt back then."

Saitama's heart jolted.

In that instant, everything clicked.

He finally understood why Boros, even knowing he couldn't win, had still crossed the stars to reach Earth—just to chase one all-out, life-or-death battle.

When you really meet an opponent like that—one in a billion, one who can push you to the absolute edge—every thought of retreat, every calculation, just burns away.

If you can fight them… who cares if you die?

"Sa—Saitama… sensei!"

Genos was slammed flat against the metal conference table by an invisible pressure. His joints screeched under the strain. He tried to lift his head, but he couldn't even perform the basic act of resisting gravity.

"Tch!"

Tatsumaki's face went pale green with fury. Her emerald psychic barrier flared wildly around her as she tried to resist the aura pouring off Saitama.

But the "esper power" she prided herself on shattered like foam against that pure, unreasonable force. It couldn't block the pressure at all.

Atomic Samurai. King. The other famous S-Class heroes. Every one of them was pinned down, faces drained of color. It felt like a mountain had been dropped on their chests. Even looking up at Saitama was impossible.

"Saitama!"

"....."
