Raymond walked through the corporate lobby with a deceptive, leisurely stride. Yet, the sheer dominance in his posture compelled every employee in the room to look down in deference, offering polite bows and forced smiles. Not far from where he stood, his female assistant quickly fell into step beside him.
"Status?" Raymond asked, his voice low and flat.
She offered a disciplined nod. "Everything has been arranged, including the location. We can leave immediately; I have prepared all the necessary dossiers."
Raymond gave a single nod, and together they walked out of the glass building toward the waiting vehicle. He slid into the spacious back seat, maintaining his silent authority. Without a word, the assistant instinctively took the front passenger seat next to the driver, keeping well outside his personal territory.
