After all that talking, Little White finally got a response.
Little White reached out and gestured at the lock on the door, and it clicked open.
She tiptoed inside, felt for the switch on the wall, and turned on the light.
But the light was dim; the bulb was clearly on its last legs.
The bride sat on a small bed, dressed in a red wedding gown, her body bound with ropes.
When she saw someone enter, she was terrified.
But upon seeing it was a little girl as young as Little White, her fear turned to worry. She looked at Little White and said, "How did you get in? You need to leave. Quickly."
"You're not from this village, are you? Get out of here, now! Or you'll never be able to leave."
Little White looked at the bride in confusion. "You mean you didn't agree to this marriage? Then why did your family..."
"My family isn't here. They don't know."
"Then..."
