The man clearly had no intention of wasting any more time here.

As Wen Ying spoke that one word, another slip of paper suddenly appeared on the wall where one had materialized before.
It was facing the man, so he saw it, strode over, and snatched the note. On it was written: "Don't trust him."
The man burst out laughing.
"Do you know who lives next door?"
Wen Ying shook her head; she didn't know.
But she saw the paper in the man's hand. "Was that note for me? Isn't it a bit rude to take my things?"
Wen Ying's question was completely serious.
