Drew Thorne's eyes drifted toward the three people in the distance.
"If Grandpa Golding knew his reputation was being managed like this by these people, he'd probably have a heart attack."
Jane Sterling couldn't help but feel a bit dejected as well.
"Does that mean we'll have to find another expert?"
Jasper Thorne gently waved his hand.
"No need. If these kids really can't handle it, I'll tell Old Man Golding what's happened and have him come back and sort it out himself. After all our years of friendship, I refuse to believe he'd leave me hanging!"
Jasper Thorne was clearly displeased by the young woman's earlier impertinence.
He glanced over to see her bossing the two young men around.
Then he looked at Jane Sterling, eating quietly beside him. In comparison, Jane seemed perfect in every way.
'Now that's a proper granddaughter-in-law.'
