Jane Sterling had spent the past two days exploring every nook and cranny of the orphanage.
Other than the director's office, which she couldn't just walk into, she had already checked out everywhere else.
The only place that felt a little strange was the laundry room Leo had mentioned.
She had been to that laundry room to do her laundry before.
During the day, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.
However, Jane Sterling had sensed an unnatural chill in the air around the laundry room.
Before Luna Nash arrived, Leo had made a point of asking Jane Sterling to do laundry with him every day.
With him there, she couldn't investigate the place thoroughly.
But now that Luna Nash was here, the two of them could go together and get to the bottom of what was going on in the laundry room.
As it neared 11 PM, Jane Sterling took a few tools from her backpack and tucked them into her pockets.
Luna Nash also pulled a few of her own preferred tools from her backpack.
