Aaron Xavier stood up and had a robot bring the prepared dishes to the dining table.
He pulled out a chair for Zoe Pierce, sat down beside her, and placed a piece of meat in her bowl with his chopsticks. "Try this."
By the end of the meal, Zoe had been fed so much she was starting to feel stuffed.
Every dish on the table had been polished off.
After dinner, they went for a walk to let their food settle.
Aaron Xavier and Zoe Pierce strolled along the greenbelt surrounding the cluster of villas. His eyes glanced toward two familiar houses. "I was planning to buy a house here, too, but I can't find a suitable seller. I even offered more money, but no one's willing to sell. Tsk."
"That's because you, Nathan, and Chase all bought houses here. The properties in this area suddenly became hot commodities."
Zoe had never paid attention to that before. All she knew was that Nathan Lockwood and Chase Shaw had bought houses here.
