Chase Shaw had just turned around, only to freeze in place again.

Even though Chase Shaw had blocked his own view, Zoe Pierce's embarrassment didn't lessen. She understood Nathan Lockwood's deeper intentions.
He had no intention of acting like just a teammate in front of Chase and the others.
He was putting on a show for anyone watching, shamelessly displaying the current state of their relationship.
If Zoe Pierce were only with Nathan Lockwood, it would be fine.
But the thought that in a month, she would have to be with Chase Shaw and appear before Nathan Lockwood...
For Zoe Pierce, a scenario like this was just too much to handle.
She didn't have the mental fortitude to act intimately in front of both of them without batting an eye.
