Zoe Pierce splashed cold water on her face in the Omega restroom, finally quelling the heat rising within her.
The whole thing had a bigger impact than she expected.
She took a few deep breaths before heading out. The moment she did, she saw Miles Sherman standing off to the side and, feeling a little embarrassed, immediately jogged over to him.

"Don't overthink it, but in the future, you need to be clear on how to engage when your opponent is of the opposite sex." Miles Sherman's words had a much more calming effect than anyone else's could have. After hearing him, Zoe Pierce felt significantly better.
The two walked side-by-side toward the training room, and Miles Sherman continued, "You've gotten so much better than the first time you fought us."
