"He's still alive." Gu Wenheng crouched down and rolled the man over, revealing a burly young man in his twenties. He had resolute features and was dressed neatly, not at all gray and dusty like the refugees.
Jin Qianqian pointed at his chest. "He's injured. I wonder if it hit anything vital." That was right over the heart; one wrong move could truly be fatal.
Gu Wenheng turned to look at Jin Qianqian. "Do we save him or not?" If this were just a refugee by the roadside, he certainly wouldn't have asked such a stupid question.
Jin Qianqian didn't deliberate for long before a first-aid kit appeared in front of them. "But we aren't doctors either. At most, we can help him clean the wound. Whether he lives or dies is up to him."
Gu Wenheng didn't waste words. He quickly found a pair of scissors and cut the man's clothes open.
