In a bustling metropolis thousands of miles away, Xin Huohuo was taking the two gods to a night market for the first time.
Her goal was to let Mr. Hei and Bai Qi relax. Bai Qi was one thing—he was never very serious to begin with—but Mr. Hei seemed to be under a great deal of stress and needed to unwind. After all, even gods can't work every single day; Taoism even has its designated days of rest. Besides, it would be good for them to experience the real customs and struggles of the mortal world.
Of course, Xiang Xiaoxue was with them as well.
In Bai Qi's own words: "Once she buys stuff, who's going to help Huo'er carry it? We can't. Otherwise, people would see bags floating in midair behind her. Wouldn't that scare them half to death?"
