Clearly, the Beast King didn't have a very friendly attitude toward the Elf Race.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have nicknamed them "wooden heads."

'So, calling them 'wooden people' wasn't entirely off the mark.'
Li Wei and Saint Xi stood perfectly still.
Before long, several Elves had surrounded them.
"A human? A Beastman? What a strange combination. Why are you here?"
One of the Elves surrounding them asked in the Continent-wide Language.
All the Elves watched the pair warily.
They had seen both Li Wei and Saint Xi fall out of the spatial rift.
To pass through a spatial rift unscathed meant they were certainly no ordinary human and Beastman.
