He was dumbfounded.
'How did this thing follow me in?'
After a bumpy, cross-planar teleportation, Li Wei returned to the Seventh Floor of the Elemental Tower.

Li Wei hadn't yet reverted from his Flame Lord transformation.
The moment he landed, the Elder on duty on the Seventh Floor felt a blast of hot air wash over him.
The Elder was alarmed. 'Has the Fire Elemental Plane invaded?' he thought.
The light of the teleportation faded.
A ten-meter-tall Flame Lord and a six-meter-tall Flaming Giant Ape appeared in the hall.
The Elder hurriedly began Casting, preparing to subdue them both.
The Flaming Giant Ape saw the Human Mage and eagerly stepped forward.
"My Lord, watch me take him down! I'll make him lead the way for us!"
The Elder's heart pounded. 'A Fire Elemental Lord?'
He nearly sounded the alarm.
But then he saw Li Wei take a step back and revert to his human form.
