Aaron was seething with rage!
'He'd never been this furious before. Not even when his older brother had thrown the woman he had always longed for onto a bed right in front of him had he felt such anger.'
'To be publicly shown up by a Celestial Xia woman he was pursuing!'
Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the gasps and surprised faces of the crowd, punctuated by the sporadic flashes of cameras. Aaron felt a bottomless humiliation. He wished he could just riddle this damned couple with bullets.
But he suppressed his rage. This woman was the one his own father, the current Patriarch of the Frank Clan, had personally ordered him to pursue.
'He knew the truth. His uncle, a representative in some secret department, had brought back the intel: this woman was connected to an existence comparable to Superman!'
And so, Aaron had come.
