The beastmen turned to look and saw Feiyan emerging from the woods, holding Qiao Ang.
Qiao Ang was back to his usual self. The only difference was a faint, golden flame that now seemed to flicker deep within his light brown eyes.
Seeing Qiao Ang was safe and sound, Qiao Xixi strode forward and took him from Feiyan's arms into her own embrace.
"Qiao Ang, are you feeling better?"
Qiao Ang broke into a goofy grin.
"Mom, I Awakened my Beast Soul! And I awakened a fire ability, too."
Qiao Xixi planted two big kisses on his little face. She often didn't care how exceptional her cubs were; she was far more concerned with their health and happiness.
"You're amazing, Qiao Ang. Now all of you are cubs with Beast Souls."
"Young Clan Leader, what did you mean by what you just said?"
When Feiyan's narrow, fox-like eyes shifted away from Qiao Xixi and her son, they were already filled with a murderous chill.
