Chu Qing's father paid Po Xiao no mind. He couldn't possibly bet his son's future on some mysterious stranger.
He then moved to pick up Chu Qing again.
But before he could reach him, Chu Qing stepped in front of her father.
"What do you think you're doing?" Chu Qing's father demanded sternly. "I can tolerate your usual antics, but what is this? Are you trying to completely ruin your brother?"
Chu Qing shook her head. "That's not it. Uncle Po Xiao wouldn't lie.
Sister Xiao said that when we're away from home, we must listen to Uncle Po Xiao. That we have to trust him, no matter how hard it is.
Sister Xiao wouldn't lie to me."
"So your Sister Xiao wouldn't lie to you, but I, your father, would harm my own children? Pull her away." Chu Qing's father's voice was stern and commanding.
Chu Qing's Mother pulled Chu Qing aside. "Be a good girl. This isn't the time to be stubborn."
"But, but..." Before Chu Qing could finish speaking, she was pulled away.
