"Flower Empress, the Yin Emperor has failed. What should we do now?"
A group of figures in black robes stood at the foot of the steps. Each one was completely shrouded, showing no sign of panic at their potential exposure.
"The Yin Emperor is a good-for-nothing, just as I expected. I told him long ago that to be safe, he should have brought more men. Even a lion uses its full strength to hunt a rabbit. But he was arrogant, actually thinking we wanted to steal his glory. He brought this on himself! He has no one to blame but himself!"
A cold sneer touched her beautiful eyes as her gaze swept over the group of Black Robes. "As for the rest, you don't need to worry. Before planning for victory, one must first plan for defeat. I have already prepared an escape route for you!"
The leading Black Robe assassin spoke respectfully. "Please instruct us, Flower Empress!"
