Whether you have been following Kael's journey from the beginning or you are just discovering Oakhaven for the first time, I want to thank you for being here.
I've recently taken a step back to look at the story I'm building. After some reflection, I realized that the original pace was moving a bit too fast to truly capture the weight of the world and the depth of the characters. To give you the best version of this story possible, I have decided to reboot the series with a new, higher standard of writing.
What does this mean for you?
• For returning readers: I have completely rewritten the opening chapters. You will find more detail, deeper lore, and a much more immersive look into Kael's life before the chaos begins. Even if you've read these scenes before, I highly recommend starting again at Chapter One to catch the new details and character growth.
• For new readers: You are joining at the perfect time! You are reading the "definitive" version of the story as I originally envisioned it.
My goal is to ensure this adventure never feels rushed and that every moment has the impact it deserves.
