Third Person POV

The coordinate did not sit still on the screen. It pulsed. Not like data refresh or system latency, but like something alive remembering that it was being looked at. Every few seconds it shifted by a fraction, not changing location, but refining itself as if the concept of its position was being corrected in real time.

Alaric noticed it first. "It is not a fixed point," he said quietly. Dr. Ward nodded without looking away from her tablet. "It is a dynamic anchor." Lily frowned. "What does that even mean?" Meadow answered instead, her voice calm but distant. "It means it only exists in relation to us observing it."
