Volume 2, Chapter 1: Meeting the Earth Brother- The Dionysus of Earth, The Silver Dragon's Descent – The Council of Origin

The unification of the Douluo Continent had brought a kind of peace that most people had never known in their lifetimes. Cities that once lived in fear of war and noble oppression now breathed easier. Trade routes flourished, academies opened their doors to anyone with talent, and for the first time in centuries, ordinary folk could look up at the sky without wondering if another catastrophe was coming.

Above it all, the Phoenix God Star hung like a second sun — vast, steady, and impossibly beautiful. Its fifth-dimensional energy gently stabilized the world below, feeding the land with rich Immortal Qi that made crops grow stronger and cultivation smoother for everyone.

But even in this new era of prosperity, the old wounds of the world refused to stay buried.

It happened on what should have been a quiet afternoon in the central plaza of the Phoenix God Star. The sky, usually a shifting tapestry of seven gentle hues, suddenly rippled like water disturbed by a stone. A massive rift of silver light tore open without warning, and an ancient, cold, overwhelmingly powerful presence stepped through.

Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King, emerged from the rift.

She was tall and regal, her body covered in shimmering silver scales that looked like liquid moonlight. Her long silver hair flowed behind her, and her violet eyes scanned the divine architecture around her with a mix of wariness and quiet awe.

The reaction was immediate.

"Intruder!" Yan roared, flames exploding around his body as he and several other newly ascended gods rushed forward, weapons already drawn. "That aura… it's the Dragon Clan! The ancient enemy of the Heavens!"

The plaza turned deadly in an instant. The Human Gods, raised on centuries of legends about the bloody war between the Dragon God and the Divine Realm, saw only a monster standing before them. Gu Yuena's grip tightened on her Silver Dragon Spear, her expression hardening into a cold, defensive mask.

"Stand down."

The command was calm, but it carried absolute authority. The heavy pressure in the plaza vanished as if it had never been there.

Lakan Diwa appeared, walking casually between the two sides. He wasn't wearing his combat armor — just a simple, elegant robe that flowed like the nebula around them.

"Sovereign!" Yan gasped, lowering his weapon and bowing his head quickly. "This beast… she is the Silver Dragon King! The legends say—"

"The legends were written by the victors, Yan," Lakan said, his voice steady but carrying a hint of faint amusement. "And victors are notoriously bad at telling the full story."

He placed a hand lightly on Gu Yuena's shoulder, a small, reassuring gesture. "She isn't an intruder. She is my ally. And more importantly, she is a guest."

The tension broke, though many of the gods still looked uneasy. Lakan led Gu Yuena and the high-ranking gods to the Great Hall of Records. He didn't just want to stop a fight — he wanted to pull out the roots of old hatred once and for all.

"You all believe the Dragon God went mad because he was a beast who hated order," Lakan began. His 6D Vision activated, projecting clear images of the primordial era into the air for everyone to see. "But look at the real source of that madness."

The hall fell silent as they watched the ancient events unfold. The Dragon God's desperate attempt to elevate the Divine Planet into a sixth-dimensional God Planet. The interference of the Universe's Will, which feared a power that could challenge its authority. The betrayal by the Time and Space Dragon Kings — the Dragon God's closest friends — who had been corrupted and tricked the Dragon God's own son into sacrificing his life under false pretenses.

"The Dragon God didn't simply lose his mind," Lakan said, his voice somber. "He was a father who watched his son die for a lie told by the people he trusted most. That kind of grief can break even the strongest being."

The Hall remained deathly quiet. Even the most hardened gods looked away, unable to meet Gu Yuena's gaze. The madness of the Dragon God suddenly felt very different when seen through the eyes of truth.

Two figures stepped out from the shadows of the great pillars. One was a man wrapped in gentle black mist — the God of Evil. Beside him stood a woman whose presence felt like a warm spring morning — the Goddess of Kindness.

"We knew parts of the truth," the God of Evil admitted, his voice heavy. "We knew the Dragon God was grieving deeply. But the chaos he unleashed threatened to tear existence apart. We believed we had no choice but to split him."

"But now," the Goddess of Kindness added softly, "there is a choice."

She gestured behind her. Two young figures stepped forward. The man carried an aura of intense heat and refined fire. Beside him, his wife radiated a regal, scorching light.

"This is Ji Dong," the God of Evil introduced. "And his wife, Lie Yan. They are the successors to our seats."

Lakan's eyes met Ji Dong's. For a brief moment, something passed between them — a deep, familiar resonance. Lakan's Omniscient Gaze looked back through layers of reincarnation and saw a man standing behind a bar on Earth, mixing drinks with the calm precision of a master.

"Five Elements Continent," Lakan said with a genuine, warm smile. "The Dionysus of the mortal world."

Ji Dong stiffened, then broke into a surprised grin. "You… you know the taste of a 'Blue Hawaii'?"

Lakan chuckled. "I prefer a 'Manila Sunset,' personally. But it's good to see another Earthling who actually made something of himself."

The tension in the hall eased noticeably. Lie Yan looked between the two men, sensing the deep bond forming even if she didn't fully understand it.

The group moved to the central dais. For the first time in history, a true Council of Origin gathered: the Sovereign Lakan, the Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena, the God of Destruction Hui Mei, the Goddess of Life, and the new God-Kings of Evil and Kindness, Ji Dong and Lie Yan.

"The goal is clear," Lakan declared, his voice carrying the weight of true authority. "We will extract the Golden Dragon King from his prison. We will not kill him. Using the Phoenix Heart Core, we will draw out the madness planted by the Universe's Will. Gu Yuena will then absorb the core and ascend as the True Dragon God — balanced, whole, and free from the old cycle of hatred."

Gu Yuena looked at Lakan, her violet eyes shimmering with quiet hope. "If you can truly do this… the entire Dragon Clan will owe you a debt that can never be repaid."

"I don't want a debt, Yuena," Lakan replied, looking toward the dark depths where the Golden Dragon King was sealed. "What I want is a world where fathers don't have to grieve their children, and where we don't have to repeat the same mistakes again."

But as they finalized the plan, a low, guttural growl echoed up from the subterranean layers of the old Divine Realm. The Golden Dragon King, sensing the approach of his other half and the presence of a new Sovereign, began to thrash violently against his seals.

The rage was waking up.

And it wasn't going to go quietly.
