Meanwhile, after parking the car, Miles stepped into the house carrying two large disposable plastic bags filled with groceries, including ice cream, bread, eggs, and more.
"Looks like someone went shopping!"
The moment he walked through the door, he saw Cassie in her usual crop top and shorts, trying to change the TV station. She turned to him, and her gaze instantly switched to the big nylon bags in his hands with a happy smile, quickly walking forward to snatch two from his hands.
Her shout attracted Josephine, who was in the kitchen, to come and look.
Upon seeing this, Josephine quickly discarded her displeasure toward Miles and came forward to grab one bag after eyeing a few goodies inside.
They placed the bags on the kitchen counter and began to dismantle their contents.
