She immediately sprang up again, nimbly leaping onto Thanos's back and raising her dagger to stab down.
Thanos caught her, pulled her off his back, and held her up.
"Little one, listen to me."
Before Thanos could finish speaking, Gamora reversed her grip and drove the dagger toward his chest, her attack fierce and merciless.
Thanos blocked it with the Infinity Gauntlet, then took the dagger from her and threw it away.
"Let me go!"
Gamora shouted as she punched Thanos in the face.
Thanos simply reached out and gently brushed the hair away from her face.
"Welcome home, little one."
"No!"
Gamora cried out hysterically, "I don't want to come back!"
"Let me go!"
"Or just kill me!"
Thanos sighed like an old father looking at a stubborn daughter.
"You know I won't do that."
"I love you too much."
Gamora burst into laughter, "That's the funniest joke I've ever heard."
At that moment, Star-Lord rushed over and pointed his gun at Thanos, "Hey, you purple sweet potato! Let Gamora go!"
Thanos looked at Star-Lord, "Is this your little boyfriend?"
Gamora looked away and refused to answer.
Thanos smiled, "Put the gun down."
"I'm not interested in any of you."
"I only want my daughter back."
At that moment, Gamora said, "Remember what you promised me, Quill?"
"Your gun shouldn't be aimed at him. You understand?"
Star-Lord raised his mask and looked at Gamora with a conflicted expression.

"Let them go!"
