Arthur then shifted his focus to them. While the first class ogres overwhelmed the front lines with brute force, the second class ones controlled the flow of battle. Their seismic pulses shattered formation, created openings, and threw the explorers into disorder.
If those three were left alone, defeat was only a matter of time.
Arthur observed carefully.
He noticed how mana gathered around Ryn, thicker than before. It wrapped around his limbs like flowing armor. His movements became faster, sharper. Every strike landed on a vital point. Every step placed him where he needed to be before danger arrived.
It was controlled reinforcement, pushed to a higher level.
Still, even that was not enough.
Arthur could tell Ryn wasn't try to hold anything back, yet the battlefield demanded more than what he was showing.
And as Arthur watched him move, a plan slowly formed in his mind.
His gaze returned to the third second class ogre.
