The short walk to Ruoxi's room was silent, the Incubus walked behind him so he couldn't even gauge his expression. Dulce pushed open the door when they got to their destination, hesitating at the last moment.
He felt a broad chest bump into his back and before he could react, an arm slipped around his waist. He was guided into the room, the door closing shut behind them.
Dulce curbed the urge to pull away, he never had the patience for intimate relationships. But that hardly mattered because most all creatures had finite lifespans, especially humans. However, he had had an endless line of intimate partners - a millennium was a long time.
He glanced over his shoulder, a faint furrow on his brow; countless partners and not once had he been on the receiving end. So how did he get himself into such an entanglement?
