Outside the classroom, Wu Zhangkong and Shen Yi, who had been observing in secret, glanced at each other.
"Aren't you going to do something?" Shen Yi said somewhat helplessly. "You should know that grouping is very important; it concerns the curriculum for the next six years."
When Wu Zhangkong's cold gaze fell on the figure shouting with raised arms in the classroom, it softened for a rare moment. "Do what? Grouping is for the convenience of resource allocation. His method integrates everything more thoroughly than a step-by-step grouping."
Shen Yi sighed and glanced at him. "Aren't you afraid he's taking too big a step and won't be able to reel it back in? A set of Battle Armor for everyone in two years—only he would dare say such a thing."
"That doesn't really matter," Wu Zhangkong said indifferently, his tone carrying an undetectable certainty. "Don't you see? Everyone has been twisted into a single rope by him. He has already grasped the hearts of everyone in this class."
Shen Yi followed his gaze; even though class was over, no one had left.
Tang Wulin held a statistics book, talking to the students of the Forging Group, his expression full of seriousness.
Gu Yue stood among the crowd of the Design Team, her fingertips lightly tapping the air as colorful elemental lights outlined the lines of Battle Armor components. The students beside her watched without blinking.
She had two and a half years of experience in designing Battle Armor and was explaining to the students who were new to Battle Armor design where they should start.
The groups led by Na'er and Wu Siduo were all frowning. They had realized that the Repair Masters seemed to have no use yet.
Before choosing the Repair Master profession, they hadn't thought much of it, but now that they were putting it into practice, they suddenly realized that before the Battle Armor was manufactured, they seemed like they were just along for the ride.
Meanwhile, on the podium, Arthur was surrounded by a group of students asking all sorts of questions. His eyes were full of smiles as he patiently answered every question, the sunlight streaming through the window and casting a golden glow over him.
"Do you know what I like most about him?"
Wu Zhangkong's words made the dazed Shen Yi look back.
"His vision," Wu Zhangkong's voice was soft. "Or rather, his capacity for inclusion."
"You'll feel it once you've known him for a while. Arthur is a monster who surpasses the world in every aspect, yet he is never aloof and never hides himself. He treats everyone equally and maintains basic respect."
After a pause, Wu Zhangkong added, "Except for Evil Soul Masters."
"Is that really so?" Shen Yi blinked and countered. "When he was competing for class monitor before, he even abused his power and asked me to give someone a disciplinary action."
"And did you give it in the end?"
Shen Yi froze.
"That was just his..." Wu Zhangkong thought for a moment, "wicked sense of humor, perhaps."
"And then there's Bing'er."
Hearing those two words from her Senior Brother's mouth made Shen Yi's heart skip a beat, and she carefully observed his expression.
She found that his Face only showed a sense of relief.
"All of you told me to let go, to look forward."
Wu Zhangkong's voice was as faint as the wind. "In the past, I thought that was right, but I just couldn't let go."
"Until Arthur asked me, why let go?"
"If you can't let go, then don't. Just spend your whole life chasing it."
"That is where his charm lies."
Shen Yi stared blankly at Wu Zhangkong, who had regained his former radiance. She suddenly smiled and sighed softly. "No wonder you indulge him so much. It turns out you were touched by the kid's clarity."
...Checking the time, it was time for lunch.
Arthur pressed his hand down.
The chirping sounds of discussion stopped instantly.
"You've all been busy all morning, you must be hungry, right?" He waved his hand and pointed. "Today's my treat. Everyone meet at the cafeteria, eat whatever you want!"
"Whoo! The class monitor is mighty!"
"We just started school, right? Does the class monitor have enough contribution points?"
"It doesn't matter, I have authority."
Instantly, a group of young boys and girls cheered and rushed out of the classroom.
Before long, a large wave of energetic figures swarmed into the cafeteria, instantly packing the originally spacious first-floor hall to the brim.
"Braised pork! I want three servings!"
"Grab the sweet and sour fish first! It'll be gone if you're late!"
"Get me a vegetable salad, thanks!"
The noisy shouting rose and fell, and a long queue instantly formed in front of the serving windows.
Arthur was off to the side, haggling with the middle-aged-looking cafeteria manager.
"How many federation coins?"
"Student, didn't your teachers tell you? In Shrek Academy, we generally use contribution points."
This Little Yellow Hair in front of him clearly wasn't simple.
The manager painstakingly explained what contribution points were and that payment had to be made with them.
"What are you babbling about?" Arthur expressed that he didn't understand, waved his hand, and produced the Sea Gods Pavilion Token. "Fine, fine. Just send the bill to the Sea Gods Pavilion."
When the manager heard the words "Sea Gods Pavilion," his eyes widened like copper bells, and he almost lost his footing.
You want me to go to the Sea Gods Pavilion to get paid?
What else could be said? The manager was out of options, so he let it be... While they were eating, a graceful figure walked over, followed by a little Fatty.
It was Ye Xinglan and Xu Lizhi.
"Long time no see." Ye Xinglan looked at Arthur with a complicated gaze.
Arthur was just picking up a piece of braised pork to eat when he heard the voice and looked up. Seeing Ye Xinglan and Xu Lizhi, he was somewhat surprised and promptly put down his chopsticks. "Is something the matter?"
"I'll be transferring into the First Year class soon."
"And me, and me." Xu Lizhi waved his hand.
Then he noticed that Arthur was surrounded by people, all of whom were eating like crazy.
"Are these all this year's First Year freshmen?"
"That's right," Arthur nodded.
Xu Lizhi's expression became visibly excited. If you had said so earlier, he would have come sooner.
This atmosphere delighted him.
With his appetite whetted, Xu Lizhi thought for a moment and immediately ran to the cafeteria window to order food.
He wanted to join this authoritative eating party.
Arthur then asked Ye Xinglan, "I see. And then?"
"I..." Ye Xinglan pursed her lips. "I want to join your group."
"Oh?" Arthur couldn't help but lean back. "I made you cry when I beat you back then, and yet you want to join me?"
At the mention of this, Ye Xinglan's Face instantly flushed red, even the tips of her ears tinged with a faint blush.
She clenched her fists and turned her Face away, avoiding Arthur's eyes, her voice carrying a hint of embarrassment and stubbornness. "That was in the past! I'm not someone who can't handle a loss."
She took a deep breath and turned to look directly at Arthur, her gaze full of seriousness. "You are strong, very, very strong, far stronger than me. That's a fact. But I'm joining not to depend on you, but to become stronger! When the day comes that I catch up to you, I will definitely challenge you to another match!"
"Just you?" Sigma Su Qiu didn't give her any Face at all. "Then you'll be chasing for a lifetime."
As they were speaking, Xu Lizhi squeezed over carrying an oversized tray piled high with various meat dishes, the sauce dripping down the edges. His Face was full of a satisfied smile. "Arthur, Ye Xinglan! Quick, try this. This Braised Pork Knuckle is delicious!"
The surrounding students couldn't help but let out a cry of surprise when they saw his tray.
Only Na'er looked disdainful. "Just this much? Trash."
