The gang drew out their weapons, Covie took Johnson's digital world pistol and turned their truck and the hyper gems into digital data and stored them into his watch. She took out the mini hyper gems and gave it to everyone.
"You ain't continuing your journey! Our capture operation is now executing you!" said the captain glitch.
"What's the difference between these two? One is dying after days and one is dying right here right now!" said Mysty.
"The commander gave the order! We will kill y'all right here right now!" said the captain glitch. All glitches prepared for battle and the spaceships charged up their weapons. Strangely,all of their weapons were aimed for Covie.
"Still not afraid of how powerful we are?" asked Albur.
"Shut up, get them!" the glitches rushed towards them. Johnson, like always exterminated countless glitches using his minigun until it was left to cool down. Albur and Mysty also killed the glitches easily by just shooting at the glitches.
"Let see how can y'all handle this!" a glitch entered Mysty's body, suddenly, her body begun to twitch, her pupils gone white and she started moving in a weird way.
"I don't think so!" Albur fired a GK bullet at Mysty. The glitch came out of her and dissolved.
The glitches just spawned back quickly and kept parasitizing them over and over again.
"I ain't letting you do that!" Johnson finished cooling down his minigun and not only killed the glitch inside Albur and Mysty, he also wiped out the swarm of glitches easily.
"Well then, what if all of you were parasitized?" the captain glitch raised his hands, even more glitches spawned in and parasitized every single on of them.
"Error, breach alert, breach alert, parasite: glitch, activating repel mechanism." beeped Johnson's screen.
"Wait, this guy is both robotic and organic! Which one should I parasitize?" the glitch inside Johnson panicked.
"Get...out of my body!" Johnson sneezed, the glitch was blasted out of his body. Johnson quickly killed it and saved Albur, Mysty and Covie.
"Numbers will show you who is the boss here! " the captain glitch summoned even more glitches, alongside some corrupted CIs. The spaceships also took action amd fired laser beams at them.
"Finally its my time to shine!" Covie used her robot arms and grabbed the CIs before tossing them at the spaceships. Mysty also took the chance to fire at the captain glitch. Albur also used disabling shot to disable the spaceships knocked back by Covie and then destroying them. Although the glitches tried to parasitize them and kill them quickly, Covie still healed them from injury while Johnson blast the glitch out of his body and save the others.
"More! More! Even more! " the captain glitch kept spamming glitch summoning, more and more glitches and spaceships arrived at their location.
"It must've opened the portal connected to the place that is summoning the glitches from the castle mothership! We can't stay here any longer! Time is running out! " said Johnson.
"Wait a second, let me try something!" Albur took the small hyper gem tube, he inserted it in the second slot of his rifle, pressed the left button amd pullet the trigger behind it.
"Power switched: slot 2"
Suddenly, the rifle begun to glow a green light, lightning surround the rifle and its vibrating very violently. Albur managed to control it and aimed beneath the ground of the glitches.
"Careful... Albur..." said Mysty.
"Hyper... blast! "
The rifle fired a huge green lightning bullet, when the bullet hit the ground, it let out a huge explosion that caused many smoke and ashes.
"Damn, that's what they do! Cool!" said Albur.
"Let's skedaddle, while they are distracted ! "
Johnson quickly pressed his watch repeatedly to get the truck out of the out of battery watch and materialised the truck, the gang quickly hopped onto it.
"Time to scram!" Albur power up the truck and hit the acceleration, the truck quickly powered up and started moving.
"You ain't going nowhere! " the captain glitch ordered the spaceships, they fired laser beams at them. Albur dodged them by turning sharp turns. The spaceships followed them
"They are following us! " said Mysty.
"We have to get rid of them! Or else we will be..."
"Uh uh! Language! Shushie! " Covie covered Johnson's mouth.
Mysty looked around, she then remembered Covie giving her a small hyper gem, she remembered the gems will explode when exposed to nitrogen. Mysty have an idea, she stuck her head out of the truck, she then broke the glass tube and revealing the hyper gem inside the tube.
"Mysty! What are you doing? " screamed Albur.
"This one is smaller! It wont do that big damage, I think...." Mysty put it in her pistol and fired it, it was merged with the GK bullets when flying.
"Wait..... that's...oh shoot! " the captain glitch braked suddenly, the spaceships, the CIs and the other glitches stopped too. The hyper gem flew to them, it then cracked, finally, it exploded. The explosion is nearly the destruction of 30 dynamites, wiping out everything within a 300 meter radius.
"Woohoo! We got them! " exclaimed Mysty.
Johnson removed Covie's arms and looked out of the window behind the truck.
"What have you done? " asked Johnson.
"I uh, used a hyper gem at them...." said Mysty.
"Why? Hyper gems are useful resources! " said Johnson.
"Alright guys, chill, its just a hyper gem, we still have 2 big ones and 3 small ones." said Covie.
"Sorry..." muttered Mysty.
Johnson groaned as he sat back into the cargo. He took a small hyper gem and use it to recharge his smartwatch. He opened the map to the Emerald upgrade station and put it near the driver's seat for Albur.
"Its gonna take 30 minutes to reach there. Maybe you guys can have a rest." Albur looked at the map and said.
"I can switch with you whenever you need a shut eye. " said Mysty.
Albur smiled, and then turned his eyes back on the road.
Johnson and Covie looked at each other and sighed. Covie then went to chat with Mysty while Johnson just sat there. When he searched his bag he suddenly noticed he is still grabbing Albur's watch. He accidentally opened the search history of his search app. But what he saw shocked him, which is the thing about the CEO of RNP. Johnson looked at Albur, he then knocked his head twice, seemingly regretting from something.
