Neither the storms on Earth nor the turmoil of the cosmos could affect Kamar-Taj in the slightest.
It was like a safe harbor.
Under the protection of someone as powerful as Karl,
very few dared set their sights on Kamar-Taj.
Because of that,
whether it was Karl or the Sorcerers, their days were remarkably peaceful.
With nothing else demanding his attention,
Karl could only focus properly on cultivation and further increase his strength.

"But I can't just pick some random place in the universe to do it."

A breakthrough into the Single-Universe tier would be even more unimaginable.
If he broke through on Earth, it might very well cause another wave of panic there.
Those mortals and Inhumans in the mortal world would probably start making a fuss all over again.
Karl felt it was better not to trouble them.

without telling anyone at all,
with a flash of golden light,
Karl vanished directly from Earth
and appeared out in the universe.
Karl did not stop.
He continued to travel through the cosmos without pause.
He crossed countless nebulae, until even he himself no longer knew where he had gone.
In the end, he found an utterly desolate star region.
There were barely even a few stars in sight.
Within that vast expanse, only a handful of red giants were still giving off light and heat. Before long, those stars would probably reach the end of their lives as well.
Karl was extremely satisfied with how deserted the place was.
With a wave of his hand,
a large quantity of materials flew out directly from his personal storage space.
Then, suspended in midair, they began to melt and reshape.
Golden runes were directly infused into those liquids.
Driven by Karl's immense power,
complex golden spell arrays gradually formed and wrapped around the surrounding area.
A golden circular spell array enveloped the entire star region, then slowly concealed itself in the void, impossible for anyone to detect.
After that,
using the same method,
Karl laid down more than ten additional layers of spell arrays around the area before he finally felt a little more at ease.
Looking at the densely packed golden patterns hidden in the void around him,
Karl nodded in satisfaction.
Now he finally had a bit of a sense of security.
After taking care of all the safety measures, Karl sat down cross-legged at the very center of the spell arrays.
Silently, he began to comprehend.
Five rays of light appeared around him, each radiating a soft and lustrous glow.
Those five rays of light were precisely the five Laws Karl had mastered.
They revolved around him continuously, circling and spinning.
Boom!
It sounded like an enormous war drum being struck.
Light exploded outward.
Karl seemed to vanish into thin air.
No.
He had not disappeared out of nowhere.
He had merged into this world itself, fused into the Laws of the world.
And in that very instant—
[Ding!]
[Detected that the host has reached the peak of the Skyfather level and may choose to break through.]
[The host has two breakthrough paths available.]
A mysterious aura surfaced directly in his mind.
The first was the path chosen by most powerful beings.
Select one Law as the primary Law, then fuse the other Laws into it.
From then on, cultivate that Law as the main path, continue comprehending it, and perhaps eventually even grasp its source.
It could be said to have no upper limit.
Most of the powerful beings in the Marvel universe walked that same road.
And the second path
was to use his five Laws as the foundation and form an entire universe within his own body.
Future advancement would naturally become far more troublesome.
But at the same time, the power it could unleash would naturally be far greater as well.
Karl possessed a God-Tier Talent.
Naturally, he would never be willing to choose the weaker path.
Of course he would choose the stronger one.
With nothing more than a single thought, Karl chose the second path.
In an instant,
a shocking transformation took place inside his body.
The five Laws that had originally floated outside him entered his body directly.
Like five swimming serpents, the five Laws moved through him, and Karl's body itself seemed to become transparent.
In the end, those five Laws plunged directly into his inner core.
Boom!
It was as if the sound of some immense resonant bell had rung out.
Karl's soul felt as though it had been struck by a gigantic hammer.
The five Laws violently exploded inside his inner core.
It was like the birth of a universe.
Like the detonation of a supernova.
Within Karl's body, five vortices actually appeared.
After that, currents of chaos emerged inside his inner core,
spinning ceaselessly there.
A miniature universe formed within his inner core and began to rotate slowly.
It was like a black hole.
All the surrounding forms of energy were suddenly drawn into his body.
The entire star region seemed to turn into a black hole. Matter and energy alike were devoured by him,
as though there were no end to it.
In that instant,
the entire universe sensed this overwhelming fluctuation.
It was as if the Laws of the whole universe were being drawn into that miniature universe and absorbed into his body.
"What happened?!"
"Who is it?"
"What kind of power is this?!"
Quite a few powerful beings were shaken to the core.
Even the three people currently stirring up trouble on Earth sensed this terrifying fluctuation.
Their hearts were filled with shock.
Although they could not tell who had caused such a disturbance,
that overwhelming wave of power was still enough to leave them stunned.
For the entire universe to feel the energy tide—how terrifying was that?
Since when had someone this powerful appeared in the universe?
They were deeply shaken.
However,
compared to them,
the ones who were even more shocked were several Multiversal beings.
They could clearly sense that Karl had broken past the Skyfather level and become a powerhouse at the Single-Universe tier.
How many days had it even been?
From the perspective of beings at the Multiversal level,
Karl's age was no more than the span of a single nap.
And yet this guy had already broken into the Single-Universe tier?
That was simply absurd.
