Chapter 1 - The Dimention OF Darkness.

These words were being said by a boy who looked around 15 or 16 years old. He

continued talking to himself:

"I'm just a guy who spends the whole day on his phone and lies in his room. On top of that, I'm an introvert, so I don't have many friends… and I don't even have a girlfriend. My friends keep showing off about their girlfriends in front of me, and I just stand there watching. I know having a girlfriend at this age isn't really a good thing… but still, I feel jealous. Maybe because I look average… or maybe even below average."

The boy saying all this was lying on his bed, thinking silently to himself. His name was Akash Baruah. He was a teenage boy from a middle-class family in Assam, India, troubled by his own problems.

Suddenly, his mother entered the room and said,

"Son, don't you have any extra classes today? I heard your friends are attending extra classes, and you're the only one lying at home. You don't study much at home either, and even if there are extra classes, you don't attend them. Useless boy."

After hearing his mother's words, he thought to himself,

"On February 14th, what extra classes could they possibly have? I can't tell you that, Mom. Those guys are probably out enjoying with their girlfriends, and I'm stuck here at home. What can I even do besides using my phone?"

When his mother left, he went back to watching reels. Suddenly, his phone screen turned completely black, and white words appeared on it:

"Now you are in the Void of All… dimension."

At the same moment, his entire room was covered in a dark black aura. Seeing this, Akash became extremely scared. In shock, he shouted:

"Where am I? Please save me! How did I get here? Is anyone there? Can anyone hear me? Please help!"

Suddenly, a bright light appeared in the form of a humanoid entity. It came directly in front of Akash and then merged into his body. Seeing this, Akash was terrified and nearly fainted… and then he completely lost consciousness.

When he opened his eyes, he found himself back in his room.

"Huh! Maybe it was just a bad dream. Anyway, I've been watching too much anime and donghua lately. It must be because of that."

But the moment he thought that, a system notification window appeared in front of him, similar to Jin Woo Sung's system. It read:

[System: Host, congratulations. You have been chosen by The Void of All…

You can now use the powers of Void Entities.

Accept?

Yes or no]

"What is happening to me? Was all that a dream… or was it real?"

And by mistake, he clicks on "Yes."

The moment he does, he starts noticing changes inside himself. His eyes turn dark purple. His hair grows longer. He begins floating in the air inside his own room.

Suddenly, his consciousness shifts to an entirely different dimension. There, he exists as a being made of pure white energy. He looks around and sees thousands of entity-like beings bowing toward a throne.

On that throne sits a dark entity formed from black energy. It looks exactly like him. On its head is a crown made of the same black energy.

Akash suddenly panics and shouts:

"What is that? Is that… me sitting there? And thousands—no, not thousands—crores… maybe even infinite entities that look overpowered, each one seeming like a god-level being! And all of them are looking toward that entity sitting on the throne… or should I say someone who looks exactly like me. But how is that possible? I don't understand anything! My head feels like it's going to explode from all this!"

Just then, a system window appears in front of him:

[System: Host connected to the Void successfully.]

Immediately after that, Akash faints again.

When he opens his eyes once more, he finds himself back in his room. He has fallen off his bed and is lying on the floor. He gets up and thinks:

"What is happening to me today? Why do I keep fainting and reaching some other place? And those things I saw… those cosmic entities… that throne… and the one sitting on it… was that really me? What was all of that?"

Just then, the system appears in front of him again and says:

[System: Host, what you saw was the Void. And all the entities made of white energy there are the most powerful beings of their respective universes and multiverses.

These entities are divided into three categories according to their powers.

The 3rd grade is the Low Grade.

The 2nd grade is the High Grade.

The 1st grade is the Absolute Grade.

3rd Grade:

4-B: Solar System level

4-A: Multi-Solar System level

2nd Grade:

3-C: Galaxy level

3-B: Multi-Galaxy level

1st Grade:

2-C: Universe Level+ – can affect the space-time of an entire universe

Low Multiverse level – up to approximately 1000 universes. ]

Akash says,

"What the hell is this? Did I seriously get fantasy-type powers? But according to these entity grades, if I use the powers of even a single low-grade entity, this entire world could be destroyed… if I can't control it."

[System: Host, there is nothing to fear. To solve this problem, you are being granted an extra ability called 'Power Controlling.' With this ability, you can easily control the powers of any entity.]

Akash replies,

"Oh, so that means I can easily use the powers of High and Absolute Grade entities too without any trouble? Looks like my luck is insanely good."

[System: You can only use the powers of Low-Grade entities. The other two grades will remain locked for you.]

Akash: "What? Only low-grade entities?"

[System: Host has no control over his emotions. Because of this, you cannot access higher-grade beings' powers. The more control you gain over your emotions, the more easily you will be able to use any entity's powers.]

Akash thinks to himself,

"Oh, I see… so that's how it is. It's true, I don't really have much control over my emotions. That part makes sense. But I still don't understand why this system and these powers were given to me. I'm lazy and untalented… so why was I chosen?"

[System: Host, I did not choose you. I was created specifically for you. I only follow my Lord's orders. All I know is that my Lord, The Void of All, chose you because he needs a controller or manipulator, not a talented and hardworking hero. Your mind holds potential that no other human possesses. However, you are extremely lazy, which is why you are unaware of your true potential.]

Akash, shocked, asks,

"Wait… can you read my thoughts too? You almost scared me to death, System."

After pausing for a moment, he continues,

"Hm… a sharp-minded controller or manipulator, you say? Does that really sound like me? Maybe your Lord made a mistake choosing someone intelligent… and instead picked a foolish guy like me."

Responding to his question, the System says:

[Host, you underestimate yourself, but in reality, you possess a formidable intellect. It is only your laziness that makes you appear foolish. As you continue to utilize the powers of the Entities, you will feel your own willpower growing stronger. Furthermore, there is one additional reason why you were granted these powers.]

Akash asks: "What is this 'additional reason' for me receiving these powers? What is it?"

[System: So that you may save your world from being destroyed by an apocalypse originating from the Outerworld.]

Hearing this, Akash feels a sudden surge of fear and asks in astonishment: "So, I received these powers—and this System—specifically so that I could save my world from an external cataclysm?"

At that moment, the System replies:

[System: For now, I cannot provide you with any further information. Suffice it to know that you must become strong—and quickly—in order to save your world. You must gradually learn to harness the powers of the Void Entities so that you can utilize the abilities of the lower-grade Entities effectively and to their fullest potential.]

Suddenly, the scene shifts to a mountain peak in the Himalayas. Amidst the snow-clad landscape stood a dilapidated, ancient Hindu temple. Inside, an elderly figure—looking incredibly aged—sat motionless in a meditative posture. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open, and he murmured: "So... he has finally chosen a successor once again."

With this, the scene shifts back to Akash. It is now the following morning; he seeks out his "Big Bro" Sushant—his childhood friend who is like an older brother to him—and explains that he has suddenly acquired a "System," much like Sung Jin-Woo from *Solo Leveling*. However, Sushant refuses to believe him, and the two of them spend a long time... They were simply bickering with one another. Akash was saying, "Look, bro, I genuinely possess supernatural powers—why would I lie to you?" Sushant retorted, "Oh, come on, man! Who are you trying to fool? Just looking at you, it seems like you've started dabbling in drugs or something. And you really need to cut down on watching anime; that stuff is clearly starting to get to you."

After arguing back and forth for a while, Akash finally decided to give his "big bro" a demonstration of these powers. He then said:

"Look, brother, you don't trust me—right? Fine then. I'm about to show you exactly what my powers can do."

Sushant: "Hey, bro, don't do that! My family is going to think we're both completely insane if you're planning on pulling some weird stunt right now."

Akash: "Just watch what I do."

And with that, Akash extended his hand forward and proceeded to conjure a ball of black energy—like a miniature black hole—right in his palm. Upon witnessing this, Sushant was left utterly dumbfounded.

And then, slapping himself hard across the face, he exclaims, "What just happened?! How did you do that, bro? What *are* you? Do... do you have a ghost or something inside you?"

Akash then tries to calm him down, saying, "Hey, bro, just calm down first. Now, listen to me carefully."

At that moment, interrupting him mid-sentence, Sushant cuts in, "No! Don't tell me now that magic actually exists in reality, and that you've somehow acquired these magical-type powers!"

Akash replies, "Bro, just hear me out! At first, I thought I was dreaming or hallucinating, but that's not the case. I've suddenly gained these supernatural powers, and now I can instinctively use them however I wish. However, I still don't fully understand *how* to utilize them effectively. And the most important thing is that I have a 'System'—a guide—that is urging me to master these powers so that I can save the entire world."

"Because a massive calamity is looming over our world."

Then he asks, "Do you get it now, bro?"

Sushant, looking utterly shocked and wearing a bizarre expression, just stared at him blankly. Then, suddenly bursting into laughter, he exclaimed, "Yo, bro! So that means you've officially become a superhuman now!" He added, "But what *kind* of powers do you have? And you haven't told anyone else about this secret of yours besides me, have you?"

Akash replies, "No, I haven't told a single soul about this yet—only you. Even if I *did* tell others, they wouldn't believe me anyway—and they'd probably just think I've gone crazy, on top of everything else."

Sushant asks, "By the way, how long has it been since you got these powers? I mean, when exactly did you acquire them?"

Akash answers, "Just a day ago—meaning I got these powers yesterday."

Getting a little excited, Sushant asks, "Bro, listen to me—what *else* can you do with them?"

Akash replies, "Umm... I could show you..." "I'll tell you everything, but first, come with me."

Sushant: "Where?" Just then, Akash smiled and snapped his fingers; instantly, both of them found themselves transported to a dimension where there was nothing but absolute darkness. Shushant was taken aback, but then, brimming with excitement, he exclaimed, "Whoa! So you can actually perform your own Domain Expansion, bro?"

Hearing this, Akash gave him a slightly irritated look and replied, "Do you think this is some cheap, anime-style Domain Expansion? This is an entirely different dimension—completely empty and silent—which I only learned how to summon and dismiss yesterday. Right now, we are situated in an alternate space. Do you get it?"

Shushant's expression went completely blank. Glancing around his surroundings with even greater astonishment, he asked, "No way! Are you telling me this is an actual alternate dimension—one that happens to be empty right now? Man, you possess some seriously dangerous powers! And how on earth did you manage to learn how to control them so quickly?"

Akash calmed him down a little before explaining, "Actually, I have a 'System'—something I mentioned to you right at the very beginning, though you've probably forgotten. And yes, it was the System that taught me how to master all these abilities. The reason I learned them so fast is that I possess a unique ability called 'Absolute Control,' which allows me to manipulate these powers with incredible ease."

Upon hearing Akash's explanation, Shushant looked as if he might just burst with joy. He felt as though *he*—rather than Akash—was the one who had received these powers. Leaping onto Akash, he shouted excitedly, "Congrats, bro! You've officially acquired the powers of a superhero—or perhaps even something beyond a superhero!"

Struggling to steady himself under Shushant's weight, Akash managed to say, "Yeah, yeah—thanks. Now, could you please get off my shoulders? Otherwise, you're going to snap my neck!" "Bro..."

As he climbs down, Sushant says, "Oh, right—sorry, bro. I got a little carried away in my excitement. But hey, you have powers now, so you should have been able to lift me up with ease. And don't tell me now that you only possess magical powers while the rest of your body remains exactly the same as before!"

Akash replies, "Oh, come on, man—I haven't actually activated my powers right now."

Sushant asks, "Then how did you manage to bring both of us into this dimension?"

Akash answers, "Well, I *did* activate them back when I teleported us both here, but I've switched them off for the moment. You must have noticed that the color of my eyes changed to red."

Sushant confirms, "Yeah, absolutely—your eyes definitely changed color."

Akash and Sushant continue chatting like this for a while. Eventually, Sushant decides that—with the help of Akash's powers—they should take on the Indian gangsters who run rampant and terrorize people under the patronage of corrupt MPs and MLAs. These gangsters' criminal family members also manage to evade justice even after committing crimes, simply by leveraging the influence of those very politicians—all while lining their own pockets with our country's tax and GST revenues.
