NO ONE'S POV
Vivien forcefully pushed Enzo's heavy bleeding body off her, not sparing him a second glance.
Her eyes instantly darted to where Dominic lay motionless on the stone floor. Panic seized her chest as she ran toward him on her hands and knees, checking his pulse and his ragged breathing. She had been holding her breath the entire time the gas was releasing, but she couldn't last much longer.
Thinking quickly, she grabbed the hem of her white gown, tore off a piece of the cloth, and tightly wrapped it around her nose and mouth to filter out the toxic fumes.
With her airways protected, she hurriedly tried to lift Dominic, slapping his cheeks gently to keep him awake and desperately trying to drag his heavy frame away from the center of the room.
