A suffocating silence descended with no one speaking.
Lukas's gaze didn't flinch, making even eye contact with the leader of the group.
The next moment he simply nodded his head. "Ask away. What do you want to know? I will answer to the best of my abilities."
Hearing Lukas's words, the young man signalled. Immediately the guards took away the weapons aimed at his head.
Watching this scene, Lukas let out a sigh of relief internally.
Thankfully he wasn't in immediate danger. His mind flashed with countless thoughts, thinking of all sorts of possibilities to get out of the situation.
But no matter how much he thought, he could find no way out of this.
After all, it was a fact that he had killed Gordon. There were witnesses as well. But now that he was caught by authorities and being questioned, did he regret his decision? Absolutely not. Given the chance, he would do the same again—this time even faster than before.
