Chapter 12 - Chapter 1-11: “Reason from Second"

'Flo Re…'

She didn't say anything, or maybe she just didn't need to. She wore a gray shirt and a short green skirt. She looked young, like the youngest of the middle grades. The air was filled with the healing scent of salt. Water washed over the land—a place full of dark and sharp stones.

There was a table where two chairs faced each other. She sat in one. The last bit of steam rose from her tea. She just stared at it.

'Flo Re…'

Then she looked forward. A dead body rested its head on the table. It wore a green sweater and long brown pants. Under the sweater was a white shirt stained red with blood. The face was turned away from the sea. Blood leaked from a large, red eye. A teacup lay on the ground beside the seat. A hand swung lifelessly.

Flo Re stared at the body. Her eyes were green. Suddenly, she felt something touch her feet. She looked down. A man, wearing the exact same clothes as the dead body, lay on the ground holding her feet. Behind him, she could see the trail he had left—blood on the stones, like a road leading straight to her. He was the one responsible for the bloods are exist from ground. He was shaking, but he didn't give up. His fingers scratched the ground until they bled.

She stared at him. He breathed heavily. Then, he felt a tiny hand on his back. He looked up. She was no longer in the seat; she was half-sitting on the ground, watching him. Her hand moved to his forehead and poked it. He got surprised a little, he stared back at her. Her emotionless face slowly turned into a smile.

The sun began to set, turning the sky red. Suddenly, a bullet hit the man's back, and he died.

The scene shifted. Another man, more muscular, same in this position. he hit her hand back.

The scenes shifted. The another tried to stand. The sound of someone drinking tea echoed, and another man fell to the ground. Blood was everywhere on the stones, dried and fresh.

Again, another man appeared in the same position. He stared at her like the others, but instead of hitting her or trying to stand, he just took her hand.

Flo Re's hand now looked older. She wore a white sweater and a long white skirt that covered her knees. Her face was prettier, and her smile was more alive. She shook him gently. In his eyes, she looked like an angel. The sun was behind her, shining through. And different is, her eye is now gray. She helped him to stand up.

He stood there, still holding her hand. Blood dripped from his forehead. The sun shone for them. She closed her eyes. Their height difference was so obvious. The man wiped the blood from his forehead. She opened her eyes and released his hand gently. He watched her hand move back, then took a deep breath and went to the seat.

She also sat down. Two teacups sat between them. She crossed her fingers. The man looked at her fingers. His hand moved toward the tea, but before he reached it, he bit his lip and grabbed her fingers instead. She looked shocked a little. Then she smirked.

She took a long white cloth from her skirt pocket. She tied it around his forehead and kissed it gently. The man's eye is now more comfortable. He closed them.

The place was not just a stone beach. Five other tables existed, spaced far apart. Behind the man, a young girl's dead body rested on a table, a teacup beside her head. Another girl's head was smashed against a stone; she looked older. Another girl swung from a chain under a cliff.

Near the cliff wall, a boy the same age as Flo Re shook with fear. People were fighting everywhere—with guns, knives, and bare hands. Their bodies were wrapped in cloth. The sun went down. The battle was over. The sun disappeared.

They took the shaking boy. Three moons appeared in the sky. A voice spoke:

"Flo Re Me Ra, the Second Triangle… we are happy for your next 'degree'."

Flo Re stared at her tea as usual. She closed her eyes and sighed softly.

"Proud to become the second youngest healer in history."

The tea was cold. She stayed like that.

Te Ra: "Flo Re!"

Flo Re opened her eyes. Te Ra had drawn a weird bird-like shape on her teeth—it looked more like a kid's random drawing. Flo Re stared at her.

The place was back to normal. A big tree stood nearby. Lut Set was sleeping. Flo Re looked at her tea; steam was still rising, meaning it was still warm. A breeze blew through. The table was white, decorated with flowers.

Te Ra: "Flo Re…"

Flo Re looked at her with her pretty gray eyes. Te Ra was struggling to pull her mouth into a pose. The purple sky was mixed with lights.

"I can't hold this all day. Come on, tell me—is it good or not?"

Flo Re's mouth opened slightly, then she laughed softly. Te Ra looked annoyed.

 "What's with that reaction?"

Flo Re stopped laughing and poked Te Ra's throat.

 "It's fine."

Her smile was beautiful, even with the sun's support. Te Ra stopped posing and rested her hands on each beside of her stomach, lifting her head confidently.

Te Ra: "Hmm-hmm-hmm, I knew you'd say that."

Lut Set broke her pose with one sentence.

 "Nah, it's just trash."

Te Ra's pose was ruined. She shouted at him.

 "What's wrong with you?"

Lut Set yawned.

"You finally used the right words for against me. Nice job."

Te Ra got even angrier.

 "You piss me off."

Lut Set: "How pathetic."

Te Ra clenched her fists.

"You little... let me show you what pathetic really is!"

She lunged at Lut Set, forcing him to sit while she shook him by the arms. Lut Set just chilled, enjoying the shaking. Te Ra grabbed him by the collar and shook harder. Flo Re watched the chaos.

Flo Re: "Come on, Te Ra. He looks like he's actually enjoying it."

Te Ra looked at her.

"Don't judge before the show is over! And where is your new guest? You said she'd come!"

Flo Re: "I didn't say she would. I said maybe."

Te Ra looked shocked.

"You mean it's just a 'maybe'? Not a 'will be'?"

Lut Set raised a finger.

 "I agree with that too."

Te Ra looked at him.

"Whose side are you on?"

Lut Set pulled her hands off him.

"I'm on the side of sleep. So, move."

She tried to choke him.

"How about I just choke you? That would be more fun."

Lut Set grabbed her hands.

"You know what? I'm done with this."

Te Ra was surprised.

"Huh?"

Lut Set caught her from behind and tied her hands and legs together.

Lut Set: "Got you, bitch."

Te Ra struggled.

 "You idiot! Let me go!"

Lut Set tied her tighter.

"Sorry, Te Ra, but you need to be more careful. You're just too easy to catch."

Te Ra shouted: "You stupid Third Triangle kind with your brute strength!"

Lut Set tightened more. "What was that?"

Flo Re laughed softly, resting her fingers on her lips as she watched them.

"Really, guys. Release her, Lut Set."

Lut Set looked at Flo Re while tightening Te Ra even more as Te Ra tried to escape.

"Sorry, but I'm not De Ra Goe. I don't just listen to your words."

Flo Re looked confused. "De Ra Goe listens to me?"

Lut Set seemed to remember something.

"Ah, right. I forgot you don't know about that."

Te Ra whispered to herself: "I think this is why I'm second in that place."

Te Ra tried to escape again. "LET ME GO!"

Suddenly, the tree started to move. Te Ra looked shocked. "Ah?"

A head appeared from a hole in the tree. A girl was holding a knife, shaking. Her voice shook too.

The Girl: "R—release her..."

Lut Set and Te Ra were shocked. "Eh!"

Te Ra immediately hugged Lut Set tightly. Flo Re smiled and waved at the girl.

Flo Re: "Hey, Me Toe Re."

The girl in the tree, Me Toe Re, looked at Flo Re. "Hey... hey..."

Te Ra kept holding onto Lut Set tightly while Lut Set observed the newcomer.
