Chapter 77 - prologo of 7 volume

After the massacre Klaus caused among the witches, he looked at Nik with irritated eyes and advanced, appearing right in front of him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Klaus growled, completely furious. "Why?"

"Because you rushed like an idiot against a large group of witches that was being reinforced by the spirits?" Nik replied with an eye roll. "And got defeated?"

"Shut up," Klaus grabbed Nik by the collar. "I thought I had lost both of my children."

Nik snarled and, in response, drove a knee into Klaus's groin, making him choke in pain and double over. Without thinking much, he grabbed Klaus's hand.

He twisted, and Klaus bent in pain, still affected despite already regenerating, unable to react as he was forced along with the motion.

Nik created some distance, then lifted his leg and kicked Klaus in the ribs, sending him flying straight into Marcel.

The impact was so strong that Marcel let out a loud groan and died on the spot, and the two were thrown into a small tree, which snapped and fell on top of them.

"First, do you really think I would die to some witches playing possession?" Nik said jokingly as Klaus got up. "And second, don't attack me, dad. Thanks to your mother—aka my grandmother—I'm stuck in a permanent teenage phase, so I'm very rebellious."

Klaus got up and looked down, seeing Marcel unconscious.

"Seriously, you still haven't stopped provoking him?" Klaus grumbled, looking at his son. "He's your brother. You can't keep bullying him."

"Yeah, yeah," Nik said indifferently. "Shall we, ladies? I want to have breakfast and get everything ready for when Hayley wakes up."

"Wait," Elijah said urgently. "Is Miss Marshall with you?"

"Of course she is," Nik replied casually. "Do you think I'd leave the mother of my sister helpless?"

"Is she alright?" Elijah asked.

"She's fine. Not in the best shape since she just gave birth to you, but she'll be okay," Nik answered, turning away. "And dad, do you want me to bring my sister to you so you can deal with the mess?"

"No," Klaus answered quickly. "She'll stay with me… And you and I are going to have a talk."

Klaus pointed at Nik.

"Sure, sure," Nik replied, waving his hand dismissively.

Kol and Elara were outside the cemetery.

"Those witches were really powerful," Elara said, watching Nik leave in the distance. "I had to use a lot of energy to break the barrier."

"But it looks like everything was already resolved. We didn't even need to intervene," Kol replied, bored. "You can leave."

He waved his hand, and several people appeared among the gravestones.

Elara gave a slight nod without looking at them, and they understood, disappearing in bursts of speed.

She then looked at Amara in the distance, walking away and talking with Nik and Caroline, all of them laughing.

"That level of illusion… I've only seen one person capable of something like that," Elara said, completely surprised. "But not at this level. That illusion seemed to shape reality itself—and it's not vampire magic, even though it has an aura similar to ours."

"You know something capable of that?" Kol asked, surprised. "Seriously, there's someone that powerful out there?"

"Do you know that woman?" Elara asked, also surprised.

"Yes, she's one of my nephew's girlfriends," Kol replied. "She's so powerful that once she subdued all of my brothers and me."

"You're kidding, right?" Elara was completely stunned.

"No. It was at my family's ball, where I found out my nephew exists," Kol said. "She literally made us lose control of our bodies. But who is that other person?"

"Damn it," Elara was even more shocked, but quickly composed herself. "Sage—a 900-year-old vampire who was also the leader of the anti-Mikaelson group among the Nobles."

"Sage, huh?" Kol seemed indifferent.

"You know her?" Elara asked.

"Yes. The wife of my traitor brother, Finn. She's hated us ever since we didn't remove his dagger 800 years ago."

"Makes sense. I'd hate you too," she let out a small laugh. "But I keep seeing more and more interesting things."

"That's what you get for hanging around me," Kol joked. "So, how about we go have some fun?"

"Sure," Elara slipped her arm through Kol's, and they walked off.

"That level of illusion? Not even my jailers realized they were inside one, hahaha…" The Hollow whispered from its prison. "So much power… ah, what a shame such power cannot be possessed… what a shame."

"My lady," a warlock holding a wand appeared in a teleport. "Mikael massacred the entire Avira Clan."

"I see," the woman growled, looking toward the horizon. "Do not fear. For some reason, I sense a firstborns… Soon I will be powerful enough"

Guys, do you think I should leave Hayley as a hybrid or leave her as a werewolf and have Nik help her awaken her alpha power? I have both scenarios in my head and wanted to know your opinion.

1-hybrid

2- Alpha wolf
