As Reid looked up at the creepy man, bloodied and battered, he panted breathlessly, "You... won't... get... any... information... out... of me...".
"You sure are a tough one to crack, aren't ya?" the creepy man said under his breath, with a smile that seemed to pass his eyes.
Reid was bloodied all over. His face almost looked unrecognisable. It would have been if it weren't for his stunning, neon-yellow eyes that seemed to pierce souls and space itself.
Reid was missing a few teeth on the bottom row of his mouth. The missing teeth were all either scattered on the floor, or still in the jaws of the tweezers the creepy man pulled them out with. For those on the floor, the creepy man would occasionally kick them to try get a reaction.
There were bloody stains on Reid's white t-shirt that he dreaded so much. Both of Reid's sets of toes and fingers were also missing a few nails, which were pulled out with the same tweezers that pulled out his teeth. Instead of throwing them on the floor like he did with his teeth, the creepy man made him swallow the nails whole, leading to his throat being cut up from the inside. Reid also had a lot of both large and small cut stretching across his whole body.
Reid, who was usually pale enough already, looked like a complete ghost.
The creepy man picked up a scolding hot iron rod and stuck Reid across the face. Reid could no longer feel the scolding hot rod touch his face, let alone burn him, though the rod still marked a red burn.
After that last strike, Reid's beautiful golden and blue ring fell off his finger and onto the floor. Upon seeing this, the creepy man picked it up and called his boss into the room. The boss, upon seeing Reid's sorry situation, couldn't stop himself from wincing, but then quickly turned his attention to the ring.
"What do we have here?" the boss wondered aloud in a delighted tone.
The boss examined the ring carefully. He then said in an interested tone, "Wow, the genuine thing."
The creepy man, who didn't know what the ring was, then asked, "Boss, what is it? Is it expensive?"
The boss then turned towards him and replied, "Yes, very. This right here, is the ring that Sasha Ivers got from her brother, the current head of the Ivers family, when this little pipsqueak was born."
Upon hearing that, the creepy man started to laugh hysterically.
"We're rich!" he exclaimed.
He looked at Reid with fake sympathy and said, "I'm so sorry for doing this to you. If I had known what that was, I would have done much worse."
Reid, looking upon the two men gawking at his ring, given to him upon his mother's death, went ballistic. He called upon the last strength he could muster and, in a fit, flew towards the two men. The boss, who must've seen that coming, stepped back slightly, and swung a punch, knocking Reid out cold.
While Reid was fading in and out of consciousness, he caught a glimpse as to where the two men had put his ring.
Reid woke up. Instead of the old, run-down cabin he was in earlier, he was in a place that had nothing but white. It strongly resembled what had happened to him before he found out about how he was kidnapped.
Upon seeing this familiar sight, he instantly thought of the figure he saw with dazzling, sapphire blue eyes, who he inexplicably hated more than anything else in the world. As if on command, the whole environment shifted, mimicking a modern prison cell. He saw four different figures standing around him.
One figure was standing to the right of him. When Reid looked up, he saw that the more masculine figure also didn't have a face, like the other mysterious figures in his last dream. Next, Reid looked foward where the other three figures were standing, presumably behind glass. Two figures were standing and one was prostrated with both of his hands tied together, which were laying on his back. He observed that both of the standing figures also had no face. One of them was holding a book and writing in it as the other figure held a sword and was about to strike the prostrated figure's neck.
Meanwhile, the prostrated figure looked familiar. As Reid focused on the prostrated figure, he saw that he man also had no face, except this time, he was different, because he had two dazzling, sapphire blue eyes.
Reid had many questions, like what was happening, and why this strange man with sapphire blue eyes kept on appearing in his dream.
But before Reid could think up a solid reason to why this was happening, he heard a sword traveling through air and cleanly slashing human flesh. He the looked foward again and saw that the prostrated man's head had departed from his body.
Reid then closely examined the rolling head. It stopped right in front of him, and he saw that the faceless figure, even without a mouth, looked like he was smiling.
The faceless figure, who stood to the right of Reid, bent down and patted him on the head.
He said in a monotone voice, "How do you feel now that you gotten your revenge?"
Reid, without thinking, as if he had no control over his body, blurted out, "I'm satisfied."
The faceless human then walked away.
Reid woke up once again in the plain of nothingness, but this time he had many questions. He thought about who that man with sapphire blue eyes was, because he didn't recall anyone who fit that description in his memories. He drifted onto the topic about why the man to the right of him said something about revenge and how he felt about it. But, what really shocked him about that particular encounter, was that he had no control over his body when it came to the response.
Reid then thought of something crazy.
"What if that was the future?"
But Reid quickly dismissed that idea because there were a lot of unlocker abilities out there, though he had never heard of an unlocker that can see the future. And, to top it off, Reid hadn't even undergone his 0th Limit Break to become an Unlocker yet, so it was impossible for him to have Unlocker abilities.
Reid thought that it might be a memory, but after a few moments of scrounging through his brain, he found nothing, so he dismissed that idea as well.
He made a mental note about sapphire blue eyes. He planed to ask his uncle after everything settled down and he was safe.
Reid heard a voice shout out, "Hey! Wake up!"
It was the creepy man's voice.
When Reid woke up to the material world, rather than his subconscious, he noticed that the two men were frantically packing up everything in the old cabin. Reid was curious and therefore, asked the creepy man, "What's happening? Why are you packing up?"
The creepy man then turned Reid's way and, for the first time, Reid didn't see a smile on his face, but instead, fear.
He replied, "Why would I tell you?"
But Reid had a hunch that it was about him, and in fact it's probably about how his uncle found this place, despite the illusion field.
As Reid looked around, he saw that the boss was holding a small box the size of his hand. That box was where he put Reid's ring, and so Reid payed extra attention to where he would put it.
Luckily, the two of them were in a hurry, so the boss didn't pay attention to securing Reid's ring to the best of his ability. Reid looked away and stayed calm, waiting for everything to unfold.
A few minutes passed by, and Reid herd nothing, but he wasn't worried, because his uncle always preferred to make a dramatic entrance. When Reid finally heard something, he instantly focused on not getting caught in the crossfire. He heard loud footsteps from outside, and they were getting louder and louder each step.
The two kidnappers also heard it. They jolted into attack stances, even though they stood no chance against Reid's uncle.
Putting a smile on his face, Reid thought to himself, "And let the show begin."
