Chapter 7 - CHAPTER 7: The Cosmic Ladder

The night was profound, a velvet shroud that draped over the ancestral estate. Inside his private room, three-year-old Krishak sat in the center of the floor, his small frame silhouetted by the pale moonlight. The silence was absolute, a stark contrast to the chaotic symphony of laws he was currently mapping out within his mind.

He closed his eyes, sinking into the vast, crystalline library of his previous life's memories. To navigate this new, mutated Earth, he needed a precise comparison between the primitive strength of this world and the staggering, god-shattering ladder of ascension he had once conquered.

In the Heavenly Universe, the path to the apex was defined by twenty-nine distinct tiers of existence. It was a brutal, epic climb that separated the mortal from the divine, and the divine from the eternal.

The Mortal & Kinetic Realms:

1. Martial Apprentice: Tempering the flesh and sensing the first wisp of energy.

2. Martial Warrior: Absorbing energy to strengthen muscle and bone.

3. Elite Martial Warrior: Surpassing the physical limits of ordinary humanity.

4. Great Martial Warrior: Mastering the ability to release energy outside the body.

5. Grandmaster: Attaining absolute, flawless control over one's internal energy.

The World-Shaping Realms:

6. King: Dominating kingdoms and influencing the very weather and terrain.

7. Saint: The critical evolution of the soul.

8. Emperor: The authority to rule over vast planetary worlds.

The Divine & Cosmic Realms:

9. God: A true divine existence.

10. True God: A secondary transformation of both body and soul.

11. Great God: Achieving control over entire planetary systems.

12. Galaxy Realm: Influencing stars and localized galactic clusters.

13. Galactic Realm: Expanding power to vast, sweeping galactic scales.

14. Cosmic Realm / Universe God: Mastering the foundational laws of a universe.

The Dignity & Indestructible Realms:

15. Human Dignity Realm: Also known as the Master or Domination Realm.

16. Earth Dignity Realm: The Supreme Realm.

17. Heavenly Destiny Realm: The Transcendent Realm.

18. True Spirit Realm: Where the spirit becomes structurally indestructible.

The Ancestral Domain Realms:

19. Grand Dao Realm: Becoming a Dao Ancestor.

20. Domain Ancestor: Creating independent, self-sustaining domains.

21. Eternal Realm: Attaining eternal life within one's home universe.

22. Legendary Lord: Existences whispered of throughout countless universes.

23. Eternal Controller: Controlling vast, multi-layered regions of reality.

24. Perfect Ancestor: Reaching a state of near-flawless power.

25. Great Ancestor: Acting as the source for entire cultivation systems.

26. Heavenly Ancestor: Shaping the very destiny of a universe.

The Apex of Reality:

27. Origin Realm: Touching the threshold of creation itself.

28. Ultimate Supreme: One of the strongest beings in all existence.

29. Realm of Space-Time: The absolute peak. Master of space, time, and causality.

Krishak exhaled, a thin mist of white vapor escaping his lips. In his previous life, he had sat upon the throne of the 29th Realm. Now, he was back at the very first step.

He turned his gaze to Earth's current state. Through his father Veer's stories, he knew that humanity's strongest—the National-Level Awakeners—were regarded as legends. But in the cosmic scale, they hovered merely at the Emperor Realm.

However, as Krishak probed the rigid, locked-down laws of this planet, he discovered a fundamental restriction.

Earth is an isolated world, he realized, his eyes snapping open with a faint blue glint. The spiritual energy here is a freak occurrence, a mutation rather than a natural flow. Because it is spiritually severed from the rest of the Cosmos, the spatial fabric is brittle and narrow.

This isolation created an unbreakable glass ceiling: Early Saint (Level 7).

On Earth, a practitioner could evolve their soul to the threshold of a Saint, but they could never step into the Emperor Realm. To become an Emperor, one must anchor their soul to the "Will of the World" to rule vast planetary bodies. But Earth's will was dormant, isolated in a cosmic bubble. Any attempt to reach Level 8 would cause the planet's restricted space to buckle and collapse.

For the people of this world, Level 7 is the end of the road, Krishak thought, standing up and walking toward the window. But I am not bound by this world's shallow energy.

He looked toward the nursery where Luna slept. His father was a Level 5 Grandmaster, and his mother was likely a Level 4 or 5 Summoner. They were "strong" by Earth's standards, but they were trapped beneath a ceiling they didn't even know existed.

I will use Earth's absolute pressure to forge a Saint body that possesses the density of an Ultimate Supreme, he vowed. The ceiling might be Level 7, but I will make my Level 7 strong enough to crush a Level 20.

He wouldn't just climb the ladder; he would use the weight of the entire ladder to hammer himself into an indestructible protector for the family he now called his own.

At this time, A tiny, soft yawn echoed from the doorway, breaking his grand cosmic thoughts.

Krishak turned his head to see Luna standing there, rubbing her sleepy eyes, her oversized pajama top slipping off one shoulder. She had snuck out of the nursery, her tiny bare feet making no sound.

"Bwo... bwo..." she whimpered softly, clearly startled by a stray clap of thunder outside, reaching her little arms out toward him.

The all-powerful Celestial who had once mastered the Realm of Space-Time instantly vanished. Krishak slid off his mat, crossed the room in a flash, and gently scooped his little sister into his arms. He carried her back to his bed, tucking her safely under the duvet.

Luna immediately curled into his side, her small hand gripping his shirt as she drifted back into a peaceful sleep, completely safe in the presence of a boy who carried the ashes of a universe in his soul.
