He was huge easily over six feet, his presence overwhelming. A fur coat draped over his frame, adding to the raw, untamed aura surrounding him. And then she saw it
A dragon's head inked along his thick neck.
Her stomach dropped.
Yet despite the fear curling inside her, something else stirred something electric. A shiver raced across her skin, igniting every nerve.

The word slipped from her lips in the faintest whisper.
But he heard it.
And worse he felt it.
His head tilted slightly, the movement subtle but laced with intimidation. For a brief second, his gaze brushed over her… before shifting past her entirely, landing on the figures that had just arrived behind her.
