Under the anxious and hopeful gazes of countless beings across the Heavens and Myriad Worlds, the final decisive clash between Universe 7 and Universe 11 ignited.
From the very first second, Vegeta defied all expectations. Instead of the usual pattern where Son Goku spearheaded the assault against the "Wall of Strength," the Saiyan Prince stepped forward to challenge Jiren alone. Yet, his strategy was baffling.
He did not launch a barrage of strikes; instead, he continuously exposed himself, enduring a brutal pummeling from Jiren's heavy fists. Jiren, sensing the gap in their power, held back just enough to keep the Prince from being instantly eliminated, though the pressure of his Ki still cracked the very foundation of the arena.
In the spectator stands, Krillin and the other warriors of Universe 7 watched in stunned confusion. "Why isn't he fighting back?" Krillin shouted. "He's just taking hits!"
It was Whis who provided the chilling insight. "Perhaps Vegeta is attempting to force a breakthrough. He is trying to comprehend Ultra Instinct through the sheer trauma of battle."
Vegeta's pride had driven him to a desperate gamble. He believed that if Kakarot could master the state where the body moves on its own, then heâthe Prince of all Saiyansâwas equally capable. He sought to force his reflexes to evolve under the threat of total destruction. However, after a relentless beating that would have shattered a lesser man, the elusive "heat" of Ultra Instinct remained out of his reach. The gambit had seemingly failed.
Jiren, growing tired of the display, unleashed a concentrated blast of energy that sent Vegeta hurtling toward the abyss. Clawing at the very edge of the stage, Vegeta grabbed the roaring sphere of Ki with both hands. With a guttural roar, he used every ounce of his remaining strength to compress and disintegrate the attack just before he tumbled into the void.
Battered and bleeding, Vegeta stood up and spat a mouthful of blood onto the rubble. A cold clarity had finally settled over him. "Let Kakarot play with his Ultra Instinct," he growled, his voice echoing across the dimensions. "This Great One will defeat you in his own way!"
He realized he could not follow in Goku's footsteps. He would not seek the tranquility of a calm heart; he would double down on his own unyielding nature. As Goku joined him to form a temporary front, the two combined their might, but Jiren remained an immovable mountain, blocking their synchronized strikes with effortless grace.
The Narrator's voice then resonated through the multiverse, providing a profound revelation:
"Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince who has always pursued the back of Son Goku, believed that if one could do it, the other must. But the paths of warriors are as distinct as their souls. His experiences, his pride, and his burdens destined him to a different evolution. This is not inferiorityâit is identity. From this moment, Vegeta embarks on a path completely unique to him."
The screen flashed with a blinding, celestial light as the Narrator announced the name of this new power: Super Saiyan Blue Evolvedâthe Deep Blue transformation!
In the Wanjie chat groups, the reaction was instantaneous. Vegeta himself felt a surge of adrenaline. If he couldn't reach Ultra Instinct, he would forge a crown of his own!
"It's a pity he had to get thrashed to realize it," Sengoku remarked, shaking his head. Kakashi nodded in agreement, noting, "At least he wasn't eliminated. That realization saved him."
Kurosaki Ichigo pondered the nature of the form. "Deep Blue... is it an advancement of Super Saiyan Blue?"
Akira, watching from his perspective, analyzed the shifting energy. "It looks like he's refined the Ki of a God even further. If Super Saiyan Blue is the standard, this 'Evolved' state must be like the Super Saiyan 2 of the divine realm."
Tien Shinhan chimed in, "But can it beat Jiren? Even if it's a massive power-up, Jiren's base Ki is still overwhelming."
Duanmu Yan remained skeptical. "The video title is still 'Ultra Instinct.' This Deep Blue form is a highlight, but it might not be the finishing blow."
In Universe 11, the God of Destruction Vermoud pouted at the screen. "Flashy hair and darker blue Ki? It's all useless. Jiren doesn't fear parlor tricks. No matter how many colors these Saiyans turn, they won't reach his level."
At the Pride Troopers headquarters, Toppo watched his leader with unwavering faith. "The Saiyans are full of surprises," he admitted, "but Jiren is justice itself. Their combined efforts are like waves crashing against a cliff. The cliff does not move; the waves simply break."
The stage was set. With Goku aiming for the heights of the Gods and Vegeta evolving his own royal power, the true climax against Jiren had finally begun.
