Across the arena, the atmosphere grew heavy as the battle between Universe 6 and Universe 7 reached its absolute boiling point. Under Gohan's relentless two-on-one suppression, Piccolo's Ki finally surged to its peak. The very air hummed with static as he thrust two fingers to his forehead, unleashing a devastating Special Beam Cannon.
The spiraling drill of energy tore through the vacuum of the Void World, piercing the two Namekians from Universe 6 simultaneously and propelling them clean off the ring.
As the lethal beam soared into the darkness, it intersected with the golden shockwaves radiating from Son Goku, Android 17, and Android 18. This magnificent crossroads of raw power illuminated the sky, creating a beautiful yet tragic canopy hanging over the imminent erasure of two entire realities. There was no chaotic shouting or desperate begging for mercy. Both universes accepted their fate with a stoic calm that moved the hearts of the viewers across the Wanjie Multiverse.
Universe 2, in particular, left the audience in awe. Unlike other Gods of Destruction who had hidden the truth from their people, Helles had live-streamed the entire Tournament of Power. Every citizen knew the end was coming, yet they did not fall into despair.
Millions of beings waved glow sticks, cheering for their warriors until the very second they faded into white light. They departed the Multiverse in what they considered their most beautiful state, draped in the radiance of love and light.
In the stands of Universe 6, the tension was of a different sort. Before the void claimed his existence, Champa turned to look at Beerus one last time. "Hey, brother!" he called out. Beerus met his gaze, his expression unreadable and his posture stiff. Champa didn't offer a tearful goodbye or a grand speech; instead, he stuck out his tongue and made a mocking face. In the next heartbeat, he and his entire team vanished into nothingness.
"Say something, you idiot," Beerus murmured, his voice barely a whisper that was lost in the vastness of the arena. In that moment, the petty bickering and the ancient rivalry were gone. There were no enemies left—only the heavy, suffocating silence of a brother who had lost his twin.
The narrator's voice broke the stillness: "Universe 2's aesthetics were unique, but anyone witnessing an entire world face death with such grace would call it beautiful. And for Champa and Beerus, their final silence spoke louder than any words. They were, in the end, blood-bound brothers."
The Wanjie chat room was uncharacteristically somber as the reality of the stakes set in. Zhang Chulan remarked, "The people of Universe 2... they knew. They didn't scream; they just waved their lights and walked into the end. That is truly the most beautiful thing I've seen." Duanmu Yan nodded in spirit, adding, "Agreed. Their calm acceptance of death is a strength of its own." Even Kurosaki Ichigo chimed in, noting that the fighters from those universes gave everything they had, and in defeat, no one could ridicule them.
Uzumaki Naruto broke the tension slightly, asking, "Wait, so Lord Beerus and Lord Champa really are brothers? I guess that explains why they're both purple cats." Beerus snapped back instantly, "Hmph! Having a brother like that is a disgrace!" and Champa echoed from the beyond, "Hmph! I'm the one who's ashamed to be related to you!" Despite their typical posturing in the chat, the viewers could see the truth. Champa's final prank was a silent wish for Universe 7 to survive the coming storm.
Sanji sighed, his cigarette smoke curling in the digital void. "That makes four universes gone now. And Universe 7 has been the one to send every single one of them on their final journey." The observation was chilling. Universe 7 had become the 'Executioner of Universes,' delivering the final blow to Universes 9, 10, 2, and 6. They were the survivors, but the cost was the weight of trillions of lives.
Tien Shinhan looked toward the center of the ring, his third eye narrowing. "The question now is... can Akira and the others repeat this three more times? Or will Universe 7 finally be eliminated by what's left?" Vermoud, the God of Destruction of Universe 11, laughed mockingly.
"It will be the latter! Universe 7 will fall before the might of Universe 11! Jiren is a wall they cannot climb. Perhaps they will sweep Universe 3 and 4 first, but in the end, Jiren will be the last one standing."
Quitela hissed, "@Vermoud, don't get ahead of yourself! The game isn't over until the final second!" Despite Quitela's bravado, a cold sweat broke out on the brows of Mosco and the other remaining Gods.
With Akira, Goku, and Vegeta on one side and the monstrous Jiren on the other, Universe 3 and 4 looked like mere obstacles in the path of giants. They watched the screen with 99.99% dread, clinging to a 0.01% hope that a miracle might still favor the underdogs.
