Across the myriad planes of the Wanjie Multiverse, the viewers watched with bated breath. In the comment section, Zhang Chulan from the world of Outcast offered a bit of forced optimism. "Actually, looking on the bright side, if it wasn't for Majin Buu's antics, we might never have seen the debut of the Super Saiyan God. Since Beerus has already made his move, the only way to protect Earth is to reach that divine level, right?"
Fleet Admiral Sengoku countered immediately. "That is the perspective of a bystander. For the Z Fighters in that video—especially Vegeta, who understands exactly who Beerus is—this isn't an opportunity. It is pure, unadulterated despair."
Sengoku's words resonated deeply. While the viewers knew the planet wouldn't be erased, the characters on screen were living through a nightmare. They didn't know about the ritual or the red-haired transformation; they only saw an invincible deity who could end their universe with a sneeze. For Vegeta, the psychological weight was crushing. No matter how much the audience cursed Majin Buu's stupidity, the damage was done.
In the video, the resistance began. To halt the God of Destruction's advance, Tien Shinhan, Piccolo, and Gohan charged forward. Even the young Son Goten and Trunks performed the Fusion Dance to become Gotenks, throwing everything they had at the purple-skinned God. Yet, in the face of Beerus's overwhelming Ki, they were treated like mere children.
The narrator's voice then echoed with a dramatic shift in tone. "Before the Super Saiyan God appeared, a different, special transformation debuted during this crisis. And this surge of power was brought forth by none other than Vegeta. It can be called 'Berserk Super Saiyan 2.' Though it lacked the god-tier labels, this state allowed Vegeta to briefly achieve his lifelong ambition: surpassing Son Goku."
On the screen, Beerus stood amidst the fallen warriors, his expression bored as he asked if anyone else wanted a turn. That's when Bulma stepped forward. Fuming that her birthday party had been ruined, she did the unthinkable—she marched up to the Destroyer and delivered a sharp slap across his face.
The God of Destruction paused, then casually returned the favor, knocking Bulma to the ground.
"Bulma, the undisputed leading lady of the Dragon Ball world," the narrator continued, "and in some respects, its strongest woman. Not only does she possess the legendary 'Oni Chin' capable of weathering even Vegeta's intense personality, but she is the first woman to ever slap a God of Destruction. While Beerus clearly held back, the fact that he merely returned the slap without erasing her proves he is indeed a broad-minded deity. Any other Destroyer would have sent her straight to King Yama."
Admiration for Bulma surged through the dimensions. Viewers were stunned by her sheer audacity. Even though she didn't fully grasp Beerus's status, she had displayed more courage than the most seasoned warriors. She had accomplished with a single hand what Goku and Vegeta couldn't—she had actually made the God of Destruction blink.
Even the Beerus of the present timeline, currently en route to Earth, couldn't help but nod at the screen. "That woman has spirit. I haven't seen an interesting mortal like her in ages." He didn't feel humiliated; to a God, a slap was no different from any other physical strike. He respected her courage, and since she had provided such a magnificent feast, he saw no reason to kill her over a momentary lapse in etiquette.
Inside his own spaceship, the current Vegeta felt a strange sense of pride. "No wonder the 'me' in that video fell for her. She really is a formidable woman." Saiyans were naturally drawn to strong-willed, fierce women, and Bulma slapping a God was the ultimate display of fire.
Then, the narrator's voice grew heavy with anticipation. "Remember the 'manly moment' I promised? It begins the second Vegeta sees his wife hit the ground."
In the video, Vegeta stood frozen. The sight of Bulma being struck shattered his mental barriers. His pupils disappeared, and a guttural, agonizing howl erupted from his lungs.
"Ahhhhh!!!!"
The ground beneath him began to crack. The sea churned. "You... you actually... you actually dared to hit... MY BULMA!!!"
With that roar of primal fury, a golden aura exploded from Vegeta's body, far more violent and jagged than any Super Saiyan 2 transformation seen before. The pressure of his Ki surged, skyrocketing past the level of Son Goku's Super Saiyan 3.
"Is this it?!" Master Roshi shouted over the roaring wind. "The moment Vegeta finally overtakes Goku!"
Fear was gone. Trauma was gone. Vegeta had only one thought: to utterly crush the man who laid a hand on his wife.
"Driven by love and rage, Vegeta broke his limits," the narrator concluded. "To draw his sword against a terrifying deity who had haunted his dreams since childhood—all for the sake of his woman—is the mark of a true man. In this moment, Vegeta was no longer just a prince; he was a husband unleashed."
