Meanwhile, on King Kai's Planet, North Kai was spiraling into a panic. His planet was already a tiny fraction of its former size because Beerus had previously destroyed most of it in a fit of pique. Seeing the God of Destruction heading his way again felt like a death sentence for his remaining land. His only hope was that Son Goku wouldn't do anything reckless. But knowing Goku's obsession with fighting, North Kai's anxiety only intensified.
The video continued with Goku training intensely in the 10x gravity of the small planet. As the Supreme Kais and King Kai sensed the encroaching pressure of Beerus's Ki, they telepathically warned Goku to stay hidden.
King Kai tried to keep the God's arrival a secret, but Goku's sharp ears caught him muttering. Under pressure, the Kai relented and explained who Beerus was. Predictably, Goku's Saiyan blood began to boil with excitement. He wanted to test his strength against a God.
When Beerus finally arrived, he immediately sensed Goku's presence and summoned him. The God of Destruction was searching for the "Super Saiyan God," a title Goku didn't recognize. Disappointed, Beerus prepared to head to Earth to find the other Saiyans, but Goku couldn't let him leave without a spar. King Kai nearly fainted with fear, but Beerus found the challenge amusing. It had been a long time since a mortal had shown such audacity.
Goku began the fight cautiously. He transformed into a Super Saiyan, but his strikes met only air. He ascended to Super Saiyan 2, yet the result was the same. Finally, Goku roared as his hair lengthened and his Ki exploded, reaching the state of Super Saiyan 3.
His offensive became a fierce blur of golden energy, but Beerus remained effortlessly composed, dodging every blow with a bored expression. When Goku complained about the lack of counterattacks, Beerus told him he had to prove he was worth the effort.
Goku launched a desperate, full-power strike. This time, Beerus didn't move—he simply raised a single finger and stopped the punch dead. The shockwave rattled the very dimensions of the screen.
"Since you aren't half bad, I'll teach you something," Beerus said calmly. "A God of Destruction is a terrifying thing." With a casual flick of his finger against Goku's forehead, the Saiyan was sent spiraling. Before he could recover, Beerus appeared behind him and delivered a sharp hand chop to the neck.
In just two trivial moves, Super Saiyan 3 Goku was rendered unconscious. The multiversal audience sat in stunned silence. After a long moment, the chat flooded with reactions.
