Son Goku stood firm in his resolve to face Vegeta, but Supreme Kai Shin stepped forward in desperate protest. The deity knew that any damage sustained during their clash would leak massive amounts of energyâenergy Babidi would siphon to accelerate the revival of the terrifying Majin Buu. Shin went as far as physically barring Goku's path, declaring that if the Saiyan wished to fight Vegeta, he would have to strike down a god first.
Goku did not waste words. Instead, he raised his palm, and a dense sphere of golden Ki flickered into existence, humming with devastating intent. His actions spoke louder than any argument: he was prepared to move through anyone to settle this debt. The sheer pressure of his resolve stunned Gohan and even left Vegeta momentarily speechless.
Realizing that the Saiyan was not bluffing, the Supreme Kai's nerves gave way. He recoiled, allowing Goku to pass. Seeing the opportunity for a high-energy harvest, Babidi gleefully cooperated, using his sorcery to teleport the two rivals to a desolate wasteland where they could unleash their full power.
In the sacred Realm of the Kai of Universe 10, the apprentice Zamasu watched the broadcast with a face twisted in loathing. To him, the sight of a Supreme Kai cowering before a mortal was a stain on the divine order. "A dignified god, acting so pathetic before a mere human," Zamasu hissed, his hatred for mortals deepening.
He saw Goku's defiance not as bravery, but as the ultimate blasphemy. This display only solidified his dark resolve: humans were a failed creation that needed to be erased from existence before their insolence threatened the very fabric of the cosmos.
Meanwhile, in the Kaioshin Realm of Universe 7, Shin felt a bitter sting of humiliation. He realized he held no authority over these Saiyans, yet he couldn't help but marvel at their frightening potential. He began to wonder if Lord Beerus's intervention was even necessaryâcould these mortals actually possess the Ki required to extinguish the threat of Majin Buu on their own?
High above, the inter-universal chat erupted. "Hahahaha!" Champa mocked, tagging his brother. "@Beerus, your Universe 7 Supreme Kai is an absolute coward!"
Beerus snapped back instantly, "Shut up, Champa! As if your own Supreme Kai wouldn't fold like a lawn chair if Goku aimed that energy at him." Though he sounded annoyed, Beerus was secretly relieved Shin had moved. If the Supreme Kai had died, Beerus would have perished along with him due to their life-linkâa truly pathetic way for a God of Destruction to go.
"I want to see what this Majin Buu is made of," Beerus growled, his golden eyes narrowing. "Once this video is over, I'll find that pink blob and Hakai him myself for almost costing me my life while I was napping!"
Back in the recording, Goku handed one of their last two Senzu Beans to Gohan, ensuring his son was at peak physical condition. He instructed Gohan to head toward Babidi's ship with Shin and to tap into the dormant rage he had accessed during the battle with Cell.
Goku knew that if Gohan truly let go, no one in the universe could stand against him. Gohan looked at his father with a heavy heart; Goku had only been granted twenty-four hours in the living world to enjoy a tournament, yet he was spending his precious time cleaning up a mess caused by ancient magic and Saiyan pride.
As Gohan and Shin departed, Babidi sensed the movement and barked an order through the telepathic link: "Vegeta! Stop them!"
Vegeta's body convulsed as the Majin mark on his forehead glowed with dark intensity, but he gritted his teeth and stood his ground. In a historic display of willpower, he defied the wizard's direct command. "I am the Prince of all Saiyans!" he roared, the veins in his neck bulging. "You may control my body, but you will never control my pride!" Babidi was stunned by the resistance but ultimately didn't care; as long as Vegeta fought Goku, the energy would still flow.
With the distractions cleared, Goku turned his full attention to Vegeta. "I don't want to cause Buu's revival by dragging this out," Goku stated, his voice dropping an octave. "So I'm going to use my full power right from the start."
With a sudden, violent eruption of golden light and crackling blue electricity, Goku bypassed his initial form and transformed directly into Super Saiyan 2. Vegeta smirked, sensing the massive Ki.
He noted that Goku had clearly surpassed the level Gohan reached years ago. Without hesitation, Vegeta unleashed his own golden aura, manifesting an equal level of Super Saiyan 2 power. The air around them began to distort under the weight of their combined presence.
Suddenly, the Narrator's voice cut through the tension: "Keep a close eye on Goku's claim about using his 'full power.' There will be a quiz later."
The comment sent shockwaves through the multidimensional audience. In the world of One Piece, Garp scratched his head. "Wait, is he saying Goku is lying?" Sengoku nodded grimly; the narrator wouldn't highlight a specific sentence unless it contained a hidden truth.
In the Soul Society, Ichigo wondered if Goku already possessed the Super Saiyan 3 form, while Kakashi theorized that Goku was simply holding back a massive portion of his base Ki.
Vegeta, watching the screen from his own timeline, felt his blood boil. "Impossible! How could Kakarot be hiding anything from me?" he screamed, his aura flickering in rage. To him, the idea that Goku wasn't giving his all in their long-awaited rematch was the ultimate insult.
Yamcha couldn't help but chime in with a smirk, "Whether he's holding back or not, the truth is coming out, Vegeta. Though I have a feeling your ego isn't going to enjoy the reveal." Deep down, Akira and the others watched with bated breath, knowing the storm that was about to break.
