[Leo Lin Confesses His Love for James Rodríguez, James Rodríguez Likes Leo Lin's Post!]

[Bayern Munich Are Not Expected to Start Goretzka, James Rodríguez May Be in the Starting Lineup!]

[No One Knows How Well Süle and Hummels Will Work Together, but Hopefully They Can Complete Their Defensive Mission.]

[Liverpool Are the Most Successful Team in English football This Season, Bayern Are the Most Successful Team in German football This Season. The Two Meeting in the Champions League Final Is the Best Possible Outcome!]

With only the match against Bayern left in the entire season, Leo Lin had been living happily at home with Maria. He also got along well with his teammates in training every day.

On June 1, Barnett sent Leo Lin two invitations.

"Leo Lin, I have two pieces of good news."

"First, English football is choosing the most successful Premier League player of the past three years, and you've been selected!"

"The second piece of good news is an invitation. It's unpaid. The World Children's Friendship Association would like to invite you to send Children's Day wishes to children all over the world!"

Leo Lin liked that invitation very much, but as for the previous award, even he had not fully accepted it himself.

After all, it was supposed to judge the best player in English football over the past three years, yet he had only played in the Premier League for two years so far.

When he met Barnett on June 1, Barnett also found the whole award situation rather amusing.

"At first, the Premier League chairman didn't include you on the shortlist because he thought the nominees should at least be players who had played in the Premier League for three years."

"But a lot of fans were unhappy that you weren't on the list."

"This is what Liverpool fans were saying at first."

"It's fine, we won't vote for him. Just put him on the shortlist first."

"He's played two years in the Premier League and won so many trophies. Isn't it disrespectful not to put him on the shortlist?"

"What's this? Liverpool have won too many titles, so the English Football Association wants to target us now?"

"So many Liverpool fans said things like that that the Premier League chairman couldn't take the pressure and ended up putting you on the shortlist."

"Then the Premier League fans were delighted, because the Premier League chairman had fallen for it. Before long, you beat every other nominee on the shortlist, advanced round after round in the voting, and finally became the most successful player in the Premier League over the past three years."

"Oh, and by the way, if you beat Bayern in the final, your next Ballon d'Or is coming too!"

"This season is easily the best season of your career."

Through these little schemes, Liverpool fans successfully helped Leo Lin win another award.

On the morning of June 1, Leo Lin first went to the Premier League chairman's home to receive the award. Although the chairman's smile looked a little strained, Leo Lin's win was still convincing enough.

The only thing that might leave fans of other teams dissatisfied was that Leo Lin had not completed three full years in English football.

Because of that, the Premier League officials even quietly changed one line in the award's detailed description.

The wording was changed from [Selecting the best player from among candidates who have played in English football for three years!] to [Selecting the best star from among players who have played in English football during the past three years.]

That afternoon, Leo Lin set off for the World Children's Care Headquarters to record a video for children all over the world.

Every year on Children's Day, the World Children's Care Headquarters invites a superstar to send children their best wishes, and Leo Lin was the first football star to appear there.

Barnett came with Leo Lin. He also wanted to take a look around.

The chairman of the Children's Care Association received Leo Lin, and filming began immediately afterward, since Leo Lin soon had to return to the team to prepare for the Champions League final and did not have much time to stay.

"Lin, you can either say the lines we prepared for you, or think about what you'd like to say to the children receiving your wishes."

"Children's Day is every child's favorite holiday. If they receive your wishes, they'll definitely be very happy!"

Leo Lin decided to say something of his own. He did not like being a tool for repeating other people's words.

He sat down in a colorful room decorated with a childlike feel. Facing the camera that was already recording, Leo Lin said,

"Hello to all the children around the world. I'm Leo Lin."

"I hope you all have a happy Children's Day. I know how important this holiday is to you!"

"There are a few things I want to say to every happy child out there. First, you must stay happy!"

"At your age, it really is the easiest time in life to be happy."

"Second, you must love your family. Your family is something you can never give up on, no matter when, because they will never give up on you either!"

"Finally, celebrate every birthday of your own, and help your family celebrate every birthday of theirs too!"

"As long as you can make yourself feel happy, nothing will be able to defeat you!"

"So be a happy child!"

"Happy Children's Day to all the little kids and big kids in the world, whether you're 6, 16, 26, 36, or any other age."

After Leo Lin finished speaking, the chairman of the Children's Friendship Association was the first to cheer.

The video was released that same night. Many children listened to what Leo Lin said in the video. They might not understand it now, but the one thing they knew was that they should be happy.

And seeing Leo Lin wish them a happy Children's Day made the already happy children even happier.

After recording the Children's Day video, Leo Lin and Barnett took a walk through the streets of London.

Barnett was holding a stick of cotton candy, the kind Maria usually loved most, but Barnett had bought it for himself.

"Don't look at me and think I'm old, Leo Lin. I'm actually still a kid too."

Looking at Barnett just then, Leo Lin suddenly swore to himself that he would never eat cotton candy again in his life, especially not the blue kind.

"Well? Want to try some too? This cotton candy is actually pretty good. No wonder Maria likes it so much."

Looking at the half-eaten blue cotton candy in front of him, Leo Lin thought for a moment.

Since Maria liked it, he would go buy one to take home for her.

So Leo Lin turned around and went back to the cotton candy shop. Barnett thought Leo Lin had been moved by him, until he realized Leo Lin was packing one up for Maria. Then Barnett shook his head.

"It's just one stick of cotton candy, and you're really going out of your way to bring it back for Maria? I'd never buy something like that for Delores!"

"And that's exactly why Delores never lets you off easily whenever you two argue."

"When Maria gets angry, I just take out the stick from the cotton candy she ate before. For old times' sake, she stops arguing with me."

When Barnett heard that, he thought it sounded like a good idea and immediately got ready to call Delores to ask if she wanted one.

Just then, Delores happened to call him first.

"Barnett, where are you?"

"Bring me back a stick of cotton candy!"
