"Shoot!!!"
"Beautiful! Another one!"
"Diego Costa scores again!"
"The score is now 5 to 1!"
"Spain hasn't wasted a single chance. They've been outstanding in this match, making the most of every opportunity!"
"They haven't missed a single clear chance. Spain leads Japan 5 to 1!"
"If there was ever a moment that made Endo Wataru realize the gap between himself and players from the top five leagues, it was just now."
"Leo Lin used an incredibly sharp shift in his center of gravity, changing direction twice in just half a second and sending Endo Wataru to the ground."
"Before Endo could even get back up, Leo Lin had already made his third move, slipping a through ball to set up Diego Costa for the goal!"
"From the double change of direction to the through pass, Leo Lin needed just one second, with no hesitation at all!"
"This!"
"Is the difference between a superstar and an ordinary player!"
The camera immediately cuts to the pitch.
Diego Costa is sprinting wildly across the field with his back to Leo Lin, while the Spanish players look like a flock of joyful birds.
There is absolutely no pressure on them in this match. Spain has complete control of the game, fully showcasing their quality in a dominant performance that feels even more comfortable than their group stage matches.
Wataru Endo gets up from the ground and slaps his face, still not fully aware of what just happened. Everything unfolded too quickly.
All he clearly remembers is the moment he fell, and that overwhelming sense of fear closing in around him.
When he looks at Leo Lin, who has just delivered the assist, Leo Lin appears calm and composed, his face carrying a cold, almost killer-like detachment.
"Look at Lin right now. What do you see in him, in his face, in every movement?" Casillas pats Gullit beside him.
"I see a lot. For example, this guy has an eight-pack, and when he runs, his thigh muscles are like solid stone."
"I actually have a daughter who hasn't found a suitable boyfriend yet…"
"Enough."
"Shut up." Casillas immediately cuts him off. There is already a strange glint in Gullit's eyes, as if he has somehow become Leo Lin's future father-in-law.
"I'm talking about tactics, Gullit."
"In that attack just now, Leo Lin made three decisions within a single second."
"From the two direction changes in the first steps to the final through pass, he didn't make a single mistake."
"This is the World Cup."
"He's so young, yet he's this calm on the World Cup stage. It's like he's playing an ordinary match. Very few players can do that here."
"Cruyff would have loved him, if he could see Leo Lin play."
The reason Casillas brings it up is because Leo Lin reminds him of the Dutch legend who shares Gullit's footballing roots, Cruyff.
A creative genius on the pitch, and one of the driving forces and cornerstones of modern football.
At the mention of Cruyff, Gullit's tone turns serious.
"Yes, Cruyff would have loved him."
Dutch legend, football icon, and one of the key figures in modern football, Johan Cruyff, revered by fans as Saint Cruyff, passed away on March 24, 2016, at the age of 68 due to lung cancer.
With the score at 5 to 1, the result is already beyond doubt. For Japan, the rest of the match is about pride and dignity. Spain, however, shows no intention of slowing down and only grows more relentless.
Japan is completely shaken. They become hesitant on the pitch, their form drops, and mentally they are under immense pressure.
Leo Lin had already said he would give 200 percent and leave Japan no room at all.
And he is doing exactly that. Even after directly contributing to five goals, Leo Lin continues to drive the attack after play resumes.
62nd minute.
"A midfield battle. Endo Wataru goes one on one with Leo Lin and gets beaten again!"
"Leo Lin pushes forward with the ball. Makoto Hasebe pulls him down for a foul!"
"The referee shows him a yellow card!"
"He looks exhausted. Completely exhausted!"
A free kick in the attacking third. David Silva steps up, while Leo Lin moves into the box to join the attack.
"David Silva sends it to the near post!"
"Sergio Ramos gets there first and heads it!"
"Beautiful!!! Another goal!!!"
"Sergio Ramos rises to the occasion and scores his first goal of this World Cup!"
"He makes it 6 to 1!"
"This is turning into a massacre. Spain is crushing Japan!"
"They lead by five goals. Five full goals!!!"
On the sidelines, Hierro immediately makes changes, bringing on Iniesta for David Silva and Isco for Asensio.
Sergio Ramos struts along the touchline in celebration, fully savoring the moment.
After play resumes, Japan shifts into a 4-5-1 formation, or even something closer to a 4-6-0.
Aside from defending, they no longer know what else to do.
77th minute. Hierro makes another substitution.
Aspas comes on for Diego Costa, and Saúl replaces Leo Lin, as the starters begin to come off one by one for rest.
Hierro has to prepare ahead for the upcoming clash against Brazil.
Leo Lin clearly has not had enough, but he knows he must focus on preparing for the next match against the five-time champions Brazil. Reluctantly, he leaves the pitch, applauding the Spanish fans to thank them for their support.
As Leo Lin walks off, the crowd chants his name over and over.
"Lin!!!"
"Lin!!!"
"Lin!!!"
Leo Lin applauds in response, expressing his gratitude.
Casillas has already stood up in the World Football News commentary booth, applauding Leo Lin as well.
"Lin's performance today is a perfect ten. Not a single mistake."
Casillas clearly adores Leo Lin. As the starters gradually come off, Japan finally manages to gain a bit of breathing room after play resumes.
89th minute. Piqué meets Saúl's corner and scores, sealing the final score at 7 to 1.
World Football News commentary booth.
Ronaldo pretends nothing has happened, looking down as he adjusts the buttons on his suit, which are close to bursting from his stomach.
The final whistle blows. Spain crushes Japan 7 to 1, marking the biggest winning margin of this World Cup so far.
Leo Lin smiles at the camera and raises his hand, showing the number seven.
As soon as the match ends, numerous Spanish legends post messages, tagging Leo Lin on social media.
Raúl González: "Strength. One word, and I'll say it only once!"
Casillas: "The soul of the team. The soul of the game!"
Golden Boy Fernando Torres: "He has completely activated the entire Spanish team. Leo Lin is a genius!"
David Villa: "One good player in a year, one star in ten years, one Leo Lin in a hundred years! One Leo Lin in a hundred years!!!"
...
Sky Sports immediately compiles screenshots of these posts and publishes them as a front-page headline:
"One Leo Lin in a Hundred Years!!! One Leo Lin in a Hundred Years!!!"
