Aokawa stood on the wall, his Byakugan fixed intently on the retreating Nii Yugito.
Seeing her begin to evacuate personnel, a sense of foreboding immediately arose in his heart.
Watching the approaching Kumogakure Army, he turned to Uchiha Hachidai: "Captain Hachidai, we have the intelligence on Kumogakure. Shouldn't we withdraw now?"
"Yes, the intelligence has already been sent back to the Main Camp," Uchiha Hachidai nodded, looking at the tall wall beneath his feet. "However, we can use this high wall to give them some trouble."
Aokawa frowned upon hearing this.
Just as he was about to speak, his Byakugan's field of vision suddenly caught sight of the distant Nii Yugito bending down and slapping her hands on the ground.
The Chakra within her body surged violently, and her Aura began to climb rapidly.
Aokawa's pupils contracted, and he waved his arm, shouting, "Run!"
With that, not waiting for the others to react, his figure blurred as he flickered away into the distance.
Forget about causing trouble; if they didn't leave now, *they* would be the ones in trouble.
The others on the high wall felt a chill upon hearing his words. Aokawa's combat prowess was clear for all to see.
For him to panic so much, turning and fleeing without a care for appearances, meant the threat was absolutely lethal.
Even before their minds could fully process it, their bodies had already instinctively followed that retreating figure, fleeing madly into the distance!
"BOOM!"
A deafening explosion erupted from far behind them!
A massive, Soul-shaking pillar of blue-tinged Chakra shot into the sky from the other side of the wall!
The fleeing group instinctively looked back. With just one glance, they were horrified to the core, their hair standing on end and their blood almost freezing!
Behind the city wall, that powerful Chakra took form as a gigantic Vicious Beast slowly rose, its shadow instantly swallowing the high wall they had just stood upon!
Its entire body burned with a ghostly blue flame. Even though they had already fled a considerable distance, they could still see the twisting, dancing black patterns within the fire.
"The... the Two-Tails!" Uchiha Hachidai swallowed hard.
Even though he was a fearless Uchiha, seeing such a monster sent a shudder through his heart.
After all, in the entire Family, only the first Clan Chief, Uchiha Madara, could suppress such a creature.
No wonder Aokawa had fled almost instantly. Fighting a half-transformed Jinchuriki was already difficult enough; fighting this monster was simply impossible.
As he was thinking this, the Aokawa ahead suddenly made a sharp 90-degree turn, changing direction.
"That's not the way back!" Uchiha Hachidai wondered internally.
However, having just been warned by Aokawa, this time they followed his lead without hesitation.
"ROAR!" The distant Vicious Beast let out an earth-shaking roar towards the sky.
Then, it slowly opened its enormous maw. Instantly, numerous blue and red Chakra spheres appeared in the surrounding air.
Its two massive tails stretched forward, positioning themselves opposite the giant mouth.
The blue and red Chakra spheres were immediately pulled as if by an invisible force, madly pouring, converging, and compressing towards the center!
A deep, pitch-black sphere rapidly took shape between its teeth. The surrounding space began to distort, and the light grew dim.
"This is... a Tailed Beast Ball!" Uchiha Hachidai's voice carried a barely perceptible tremor.
Seeing this, Aokawa inwardly thought, *Just as I suspected.*
Why would she be evacuating personnel when the main army had already arrived, leaving only Nii Yugito behind? Her intentions were obvious.
As the Jinchuriki currently with the best relationship with her Tailed Beast, capable of controlling it while fully conscious, her behavioral logic wasn't hard to guess.
Just as everyone was horrified, the Two-Tails' massive head adjusted its aim slightly, and its giant maw snapped shut.
BOOM!!!
Accompanied by a shattering roar, the pitch-black sphere containing destructive energy instantly emitted a dazzling light in the darkness, then was shot forth like a meteor!
BOOM!!!
Everyone watched helplessly as the towering, majestic wall they had sworn to defend, upon contact with the Tailed Beast Ball, crumbled and vanished like ice under the sun!
Not just the wall—the base behind it, the traps they had laid before the battle, the earth, the rock layers, the forest... everything was directly plowed open by that destructive, brilliant sphere.
It left a massive trench, dozens of meters wide and unfathomably deep, stretching all the way to the horizon!
A scorching blast wave, mixed with rubble and dust, swept over them from behind like a tsunami, nearly knocking them off their feet.
As the light faded, the world seemed to fall silent for a moment.
Everyone stood frozen in place, staring blankly at the enormous trench that had replaced the original landscape.
A wave of lingering fear washed over them. If they hadn't fled immediately and changed direction midway...
...they would have vanished from this world just like that section of the wall.
Their gazes all fell upon Aokawa, filled with gratitude.
Aokawa looked at the scar left by the Tailed Beast Ball in the distance, his eyes also full of awe.
Even though he had been mentally prepared and had seen even more powerful Tailed Beast Balls in anime in his past life,
only by being personally present, completely exposed to such a world-annihilating attack, could one truly feel the insignificance of ordinary people before such immense power.
To this day, he still couldn't figure out how this woman's combat power was so outrageously high.
How did Hidan and Kakuzu manage to get the first kill on a fully transformed Nii Yugito from the moment they met?
What exactly happened between those three in that sealed underground space back then?
As he was lost in thought, the others had already gathered around him.
Aokawa noticed the multiple bleeding wounds on Shirakumo Hayama as he approached, understanding they were cuts inflicted by Nii Yugito during their earlier fight.
Although the injuries weren't severe, continuous bleeding wasn't ideal.
He immediately raised his Spirit Bow, aiming at Shirakumo Hayama.
Shirakumo Hayama was startled but, trusting him, did not dodge.
Aokawa plucked the bowstring several times in succession. Three or four greenish-white Chakra arrows shot out and attached themselves to Shirakumo Hayama's wounds.
"You can heal like this too?" everyone exclaimed in amazement.
This was something Aokawa had thought of while treating his own wounds earlier. Using the Spirit Bow to shoot medical Chakra allowed for healing without direct hand contact.
However, it could only achieve simple Stop bleeding (stop bleeding) and was only suitable for minor injuries.
After all, fully healing a wound required exquisite Chakra control, constantly adjusting based on the body's tissues.
"Aokawa, the base has been breached. I've sent the intelligence back. Should we go rendezvous with the reinforcements next?" Uchiha Hachidai, who had walked up, spoke, his tone carrying a hint of inquiry.
In tonight's battle, Aokawa's decisions had saved everyone.
Moreover, from his initial ability to deduce that the Two-Tails Jinchuriki could remain conscious after transformation, to his decisive retreat later,
Uchiha Hachidai had also vaguely sensed that this young man before him seemed to understand these esoteric matters concerning Tailed Beasts even better than he did.
Therefore, when making decisions, he found himself unconsciously leaning towards considering Aokawa's opinion.
"Naturally, we follow Captain Hachidai's arrangements," Aokawa responded.
"Good!" Uchiha Hachidai waved his hand grandly. "Everyone, full speed ahead! Rendezvous with the reinforcements!"
"Yes!"
