The chapter begins with Ming Chai presenting her condition. Ming says to Sai, "Sir Sai, my condition is that you must come with me and help protect my sect from a few enemies. Will you agree to this?"
Sai replies, "Hmph. If you had said this earlier, I would have killed you on the spot. However, this time I actually need something from you, so I will have to take your help. Fine, let's go. I am ready."
Ming lets out a faint smile and says, "Sir Sai, please follow me." Sai nods, and together they set off toward the Main Hall where a function was being held.
After some time, they arrive. Seeing Sai, the surrounding people begin to whisper. "Who is this man walking alongside our Leader?" some ask. Others gossip, wondering, "Is he her lover?"
Both Ming and Sai overhear these comments. Ming is about to snap at them to clarify that it isn't like that, but Sai stops her. "There is no need for that," he says coldly. "We shouldn't waste our time."
A few moments later, they enter the Hall. Several servants come running toward them, frantic. "Leader! Where did you go?" they cry out.
Ming replies dismissively, "It's nothing. I just went out for a walk."
The servants' gaze then falls upon Sai. "Who is this?" they ask.
Ming snaps, "That is none of your business. You don't need to know." The servants are shocked; their Leader had brought an outsider into the Hall and refused to even introduce him. Not daring to say more, they follow as Ming leads Sai to meet the Elders.
Inside the Main Hall, the Elders are seated in their respective places. The large gates swing open, and Ming enters with Sai. Upon seeing Ming, all the Elders stand up to greet her. "Welcome back, Leader. Where did you disappear to?"
Cutting the small talk short, Ming gestures toward Sai and addresses the room. "Listen, all of you. With his help, we will fight against the rival sects."
The Elders are taken aback. "Who is this man? Leader, how can you just bring anyone here to fight alongside us?"
Ming retorts, "Do you really not know who he is?"
An Elder scoffs, "How could we not know? We have seen and met almost every powerful figure in the world, but we have never seen this man before. His background cannot be that strong."
Hearing this, Ming feels a surge of fear—not of the Elders, but of Sai. She worries that if he loses his temper, he might destroy the entire sect then and there.
"Don't be so sure," Ming warns them. "Once you hear his name and background, try not to tremble with fear."
The Elders laugh. "Fear? We are never afraid, Leader. Tell us, who is he?"
Ming takes a deep breath and announces, "Fine. This is Sir Sai. His nickname is the 'Bloody Demon.' He is the head of the Die Family and the personal disciple of the 'Ruthless Demon of Heaven,' Die Yuan."
The moment those names are spoken, the Hall falls into a deathly silence. The Elders, the servants, and everyone present are frozen in absolute shock. The chapter begins in the depths of Hell. "Is this the same Sai who wiped out an entire sect?" Ming muttered, confirming it was indeed Young Master Sai. As the realization dawned on everyone present, they immediately dropped to their knees, trembling.
"Forgive us, Young Master Sai! We didn't know it was you! Please, have mercy!" the crowd pleaded in unison.
Sai remained calm, his expression unreadable. "It's fine," he said simply. However, he narrowed his eyes slightly, a cold glint flashing through them. "But remember... there won't be a next time."
The temperature in the room seemed to drop. The disciples felt a chill run down their spines, their hearts racing in terror. Ming quickly stepped in to calm the crowd before turning to Sai with a bow. "Young Master Sai, please, forgive their ignorance."
Sai looked away, dismissing the tension. "Enough. Let's get to business."
The Gathering StormTwo hours of intense discussion followed within the halls of Hell. Strategies were mapped out, and the fate of their enemies was decided. Once the meeting concluded, Sai and Ming emerged from the depths.
"Sir Sai," Ming began hesitantly, "if you don't mind me asking... would you like a room prepared for you?"
"No," Sai replied bluntly. "I stay in my own area."
Ming didn't dare press further. He knew Sai's temperament all too well; one wrong word could lead to the total destruction of his sect. As they walked, Ming turned her head for just a moment. When she looked back, Sai was gone—teleported away without a trace.
The Midnight AmbushMeanwhile, in the shadows of the night, a sinister plot was unfolding. The Profound Sect, a prominent member of the Righteous Alliance, was marching toward Ming's sect. They planned to use the cover of darkness to launch a devastating surprise attack.
At the gates of Ming's sect, the sentries were on high alert. Suddenly, a sense of dread washed over them.
"Did you feel that?" one guard whispered.
A small group went to investigate the disturbance in the nearby woods. When they didn't return, a second group was dispatched to check on them, while others ran to sound the alarm.
The search party ventured deep into the darkness. Suddenly, a strange, guttural sound echoed through the trees. One guard spun around, only to hear his comrade scream, "Look out! It's a trap! We're surrounded!"
From the shadows, scores of figures emerged, clad in pristine white robes. The moonlight revealed their identity: the Righteous Alliance.
"They're here to slaughter us in our sleep!" a guard shouted, drawing his blade.
The Battle JoinsThe clash was instantaneous and bloody. Ming's disciples fought with desperate ferocity, but they were vastly outnumbered. The Righteous Alliance pushed forward, their superior numbers giving them a massive advantage. Weapons clashed, sparks flew, and the air was filled with the scent of ozone and blood.
Just as the defense began to crumble and hope seemed lost, a massive Spear whistled through the air, impaling several enemies at once and exploding with spiritual energy.
A figure landed heavily in front of the disciples. It was the Sect Elder, known across the lands as the Spear Master.
"Are you all alright?" the Elder asked, his voice booming like thunder.
"Elder! You're here!" the disciples cried out in relief.
"I received the message and came as fast as I could," the Elder growled, gripping his weapon. "As for you lot—the enemies of our sect—none of you are leaving this mountain alive!"
The Alliance leaders faltered. "Wait... that's the Spear Master! The expert who can level mountains with a single thrust!"
Realizing they couldn't win easily, the attackers crushed a backup jade talisman. A massive portal tore open in the sky, and thousands of Martial Artists began pouring out, flooding the battlefield.
Ming's men watched in horror, their eyes fixed on the Elder. Could even a Spear Master stand against an army of a thousand?
