Amara's eyes sparkled as she tucked the memory card into her jacket. "I feel lighter," she said, a hint of a smile playing on her lips. "Like I can almost fly."
Zara raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "You wanna test it?"
Amara nodded, and they found a secluded rooftop in Lagos, the city lights twinkling below. Amara focused, and... her feet lifted off the ground. She hovered, laughing, before gently descending.
Zara's phone buzzed – the Market: "New job. Find the Songbird of UBA."
Amara grinned, still buzzing. "Sounds like music."
Clue: the Songbird sang at midnight, in a place where Lagos' past met its future.
