Little Yellow Chick immediately deployed a green virtual screen in front of Illustrious. In the center of the screen was a red draw button. After Illustrious pressed it, the red button disappeared, replaced by a golden orb of light.
As the golden orb slowly cracked open, a burst of intense light appeared on the screen. The light was so dazzling that Illustrious didn't dare look directly at it. Once the glare faded, Illustrious and Little Yellow Chick stared at the screen together, eager to see if she had drawn a gnosis.
A mechanical female voice first drifted out from the screen.
[Congratulations! You have obtained the cryo gnosis!]
Upon hearing this voice, Little Yellow Chick's eyes widened in disbelief. Illustrious had actually managed to pull a gnosis!
Regarding the gnosis pull, Illustrious said very smugly, "Well? Didn't I say I was incredibly lucky? You wouldn't listen, and now look! You lost the bet. Remember to give me a five-star weapon."
"I must have misheard. Let me see if it's really a gnosis." Little Yellow Chick flew up to the screen and began to inspect it closely, wanting to see if the item displayed was truly a gnosis.
"Some chicken just won't give up until they're faced with the truth! Look all you want! Once you're done, you can finally give up hope." Illustrious gloated, looking at the item displayed on the screen alongside Little Yellow Chick.
Illustrious and Little Yellow Chick saw a chess piece displayed in the middle of the screen. Below it was a line of text that read: "Congratulations! You have obtained the cryo gnosis!"
"It really is a gnosis! Tsk! It's just dumb luck, nothing to be so proud of," Little Yellow Chick said stubbornly.
Ignoring Little Yellow Chick's sarcasm, Illustrious looked at the cryo gnosis. It looked like a chess piece, snow-white on the surface, crystal clear, and extremely vibrant.
Illustrious touched the gnosis on the screen, and then the mechanical female voice appeared again.
[Would you like to use the gnosis immediately?]
"Yes!" Illustrious replied.
The gnosis immediately flew out of the screen. After hovering in the air for a moment, it suddenly flew toward Illustrious's chest and completely merged into her body.
After the gnosis entered her body, Illustrious felt her entire being fill with power, as if she could shatter a mountain with a single punch.
Recalling the bet between her and Little Yellow Chick, Illustrious said smugly to it, "Hey, Little Yellow Chick, I remember you said you'd give me a five-star weapon if you lost."
Little Yellow Chick said angrily, "Dammit! It seems I lost. But don't get ahead of yourself. So what if you have a gnosis? The seven gods of Teyvat are very powerful; each one is a peerless expert. If you can't defeat any one of them, you'll stay in this world forever!"
