Chapter 73 - Chapter 73: Pocket Killer Moves

"How far is Shung Mia Yin from mastering my Killer Move?" Kao Dao Ji asked, and immediately.

The expression on Le Tu's face became a bit dismal.

"She…Is stuck at the final conjecture."

"Really? After all this time, she still cannot do it…" Kao Dao Ji muttered under his breath, and a deep frown appeared on his face.

Why was Shung Mia Yin this incompetent?

While the time flow was not as exaggerated as that of his aperture, more than a couple of years had passed from her side.

How could she still fail at achieving something so basic?

"Why? What is taking her so long?" He said in a frustrated tone.

"Well…"

"She said that while she can bend and stretch her aperture like you, it is not so easy. And every time she does, she feels a sharp pain across her whole body.

The more she moves, the greater the pain becomes."

Then, he paused.

"I know that you don't want to teach her the full move, so she depends on you to use it. But this is not working.

At the very least, you could share other not-so-relevant parts, or at least those that are necessary to deal with the side effects."

Kao Dao Ji stared at Le Tu with a peculiar expression.

While he felt the pressure and was forced to modify his method several times, the method he revealed to her already covered those weak points. In its current iteration, he no longer even felt strain.

Then he raised his eyebrows.

"My body must be even more peculiar than I thought..." He scratched his ear before shaking his head.

"Well…This is not what I had in mind, but." He sighed.

Touching his forehead and lowering his head.

"I can still somewhat salvage this…" His eyes darted towards Le Tu, who frowned.

"So could you tell me what your plan was?"

"Well…I wanted you to return to Shung Mia Yin's side and said that you had a fortuitous encounter there. While others may attempt to target you, as long as you appear, those of the Qiao Clan will appear to protect you, so it's fine.

And while others may attempt to deduce you, Uru Hong Jin's Mediocrity Gu is still active, making deductions about you or me harder.

Anyhow.

Using that excuse, you would begin to sell this…"

Kao Dao Ji stretched his palm into the air.

Once more, dark grey clouds appeared, and black ink was spilled over their surface.

Rapidly turning the cloud entirely black.

Le Tu frowned.

"Are you showing me your Killer Move? But why? It is strong, yes. But that is precisely why the Heavenly Spirit of Treasure Yellow Heaven will block the trade."

The logic was obvious; whilst ordinary Mortal Killer Moves did not target its interests, if it allowed any Killer Move to enter into its domain, it could easily be a trap that would blow up in its face.

Thus, Immortal Killer Moves and the like could not be distributed, and even ordinary Rank 5 Killer Moves could not be transferred so easily.

Similarly, Immortal Apertures and a few other dangerous things were not allowed to enter either.

But Kao Dao Ji smirked with a confident smile.

"I know, I am not stupid. But I think there is a loophole within that rule."

"A loophole?"

"Lemme show you."

He clenched his fists.

[Reversed Skies: Ouroboros Cloud!]

The freezing cold at its very center suddenly morphed, its shape transformed as its very center began to expand, trying to devour the rest of the cloud.

The cloud converged upon itself in a very strange way, creating a 'knot', but that was just the beginning.

The process repeated itself over and over again as the cloud itself devoured itself, compressing itself over time.

A few minutes later.

There was only a tiny white ice fragment flying amidst the skies.

Its insides were blurry and distorted.

Le Tu stared at the piece, somewhat confused, until suddenly realization dawned upon his face.

"I get it!"

"Things that are the center of your Extreme Yin Cloud are in a frozen state.

This applies not only to physical objects, but to thoughts, and if I am not mistaken, to Killer Moves too?" He turned his head towards Kao Dao Ji, whose eyelids twitched.

To which Le Tu rubbed his nose.

While he was not sure of his guess before, the expression on his face told him the answer.

"In that frozen state, technically, there is no Killer Move, and thus it would be allowed to enter into Treasure Yellow Heaven, however. The Killer Move that you used to encase it is technically a Killer Move on its own.

But you had the idea of using the same Killer Move to target itself, hence creating a loophole.

In which, while there is a Killer Move inside, technically speaking, there is no 'movement' within, nor any other of the signs of an ordinary Killer Move.

Of course, that is like creating a box that only contains itself, utterly meaningless.

I guess you aim to use that box to transport other Killer moves into Treasure Yellow Heaven.

Is that right?"

Kao Dao Ji expression froze.

His lips trembled.

How on earth did he figure out so much so quickly?

He coughed awkwardly.

"That is more or less my intention."

"But you missed a key detail, which is that the Heavenly Spirit within Treasure Yellow Heaven is not completely idiotic.

The second it realizes that I am pulling this stunt, it may decide to ban me from the market.

After all, if my Killer Moves can explode at any time, they are just as threatening to the Heavenly Spirit.

Which is why…My Killer Move cannot unravel itself, but must be unraveled by the one who received my product in a long series of steps to become usable."

Upon saying those words, he stared at Le Tu once more.

"I am certain my idea will work, however. Well, you know about my misgivings.

In the eyes of most, I am supposed to be nothing more than a Land Spirit.

If I begin to sell stuff I should not, others will suspect me. Especially my clan.

Whereas for you, even if they do suspect you. You still have an alibi, and nobody knows where you

are.

That is why I am giving you this offer.

Be my middleman and do the transactions for me, and I will give you 5% of my profits."

Upon hearing those words, even the usually calm Le Tu twitched.

"Is that a joke? I am the one undertaking all the risks!"

"And I am the one who's doing all the work." Kao Dao Ji shrugged.

"25%." Le Tu suddenly said.

"Absurd!" Kao Dao Ji shouted with an indignant expression.

A long negotiation ensued.

That stretched for a few hours; in the end, both parties agreed to a 10% deal in the sale of objects made by Kao Dao Ji exclusively.

However, in several other Killer Moves, he and Uru Hong Jing would be able to collaborate and receive a larger portion of the share.

"Huh?"

"Is that…Le Tu?"

The Wills of several Rank 6 and 7 experts were immediately drawn to the figure, while he was not the main beneficiary, it was very well known that before his death, Uru Tan He transferred several of his Immortal Gu to him.

As well as a collection of Killer Moves, among other miscellaneous things.

And while deducing about Uru Hong Jing seemed impossible, perhaps if they found other clues, they could find his location.

Le Tu himself was a person who was followed by several others; unfortunately, he seldomly appeared.

Still.

The expression on those figures immediately changed.

As they saw that there was a stall.

With hundreds of icy objects within.

Beneath them, there was a sign.

'Green Rain', 'Icy Assault', and there were even some of his own creations.

'Extreme Yin-Yang Earth: Body Weight Manipulation'

Several people stood there, intrigued by the presence of such a product.

Including the ones who were trying to track Le Tu's movements.

One of them asked directly.

"What are those ice crystals?"

To which Le Tu's Will replied with a tiny smile.

"Curious? Well. Take a good look at the guide."

Immediately, he threw a book to the person who asked, who immediately widened his eyes upon reading its contents.

"Is this true?" He exclaimed.

"Do you think I would be lying to you about this?"

"Come. Go and test it! This one's free of charge." Le Tu carefreely threw an ice crystal towards the potential customer.

Of course, unlike the others, the free samples barely carried any power.

There was not even an immortal aura within them, but still, they served their purpose well.

The Immortal.

Paid attention to the steps.

Five minutes afterwards, he easily unraveled it.

And tested for himself the effects.

A powerful water stream was shot with the strength to cut through flesh.

It was utterly worthless in comparison to even the smallest of his techniques.

Still.

This brought a tremendous shock and enthusiasm to him.

Immediately, a wide smile appeared on his face.

"Oh well!"

Without any hesitation.

He immediately appeared before Le Tu.

"I will buy half your stock!" He shouted.

The other Immortals who were hovering nearby were utterly bewildered by his actions.

Some even laughed at the scene.

"Seriously? Is somebody that stupid to buy so many at once?"

"Who knows, maybe the actual effect of those ice crystals is to brainwash anybody stupid enough to use them."

"Please. I am more than sure that the two must be colluding! This is just a publicity stunt."

Several Immortals whispered and not-so-whispered to one another in the busy stall of Treasure Yellow Heaven, the Immortal who had just bought them, the one named Ketsu Shiji, merely smirked.

"Those fools. They will be begging me to sell it to them for thrice the price in just a few weeks!" He muttered to himself.

Like many Immortals, he was utterly impoverished.

He possessed only 58 Immortal Essence Stones, and in just one single trade, he had lost 49!

Yet.

He gritted his teeth and endured it.

His Cultivation Method '7 Sins Blade' stopped short of the mortal Realm; there was no further guidance he could receive, no further knowledge or information.

Furthermore, his method belonged to 'Enchantment' and Blade Path.

An incomplete Path, and a purely offensive one, and he also lacked Immortal Gu.

Due to several reasons, his status amongst immortals was among the lowest.

He could barely scrape by and changed his last name to join the Ketsu Clan, losing all his dignity.

All to receive enough aid to survive his Tribulations, but he knew that the aid would stop sooner or later, especially when his Heavenly Tribulations arrived.

And hence, he was forced to take a risk.

He gritted his teeth and bought as many as he could afford to, before collapsing.

"Sigh…Hopefully, I can find somebody to buy them before they expire."
