At this, Johnny quickly climbed into a car and waved at the others.
"Damn it, we will talk on the way. We need to get out of this place fast. I checked, there should not be any surveillance in this car. Grab fuel from the others, then we can drive and move around freely."
He started the engine, his tone becoming slightly more relaxed.
"I have a shelter. There are a few allies there, people in the same situation as me. We usually have five people, so we never managed to form a proper Fantastic Four team."
He gave a short laugh.
"They all wanted in, but there are only three spots besides me, so they fought over it. Still, we have been together for years. We can handle a few more."
He glanced toward Axel.
"Deadpool and Logan are trouble, but you… I think my people will like you."
Axel smiled faintly.
"No problem."
He stepped into the passenger seat. Deadpool slipped into the back right after him, leaving Wolverine still stuck outside, shouting.
"Damn it, get me down!"
After finally being released from the magnetic trap, Logan climbed in with a frustrated expression. Without a cigar or drink, he looked restless, his jaw tight.
He had barely sat down before Deadpool started reaching toward him again.
Logan shoved his hand away and kept his claws partially extended as a warning.
"What exactly is going on with this Cassandra you mentioned?"
Johnny snorted, lowering the window and spitting into the dusty wind outside.
Only after that did he seem slightly calmer.
"This place, the Void, I only understood it after arriving here. Every day, things get dumped here from countless timelines."
He paused briefly.
"People like us are considered useless or dangerous by the TVA. In their eyes, we are trash."
"You watch your mouth," Axel cut in sharply. "I am not part of your trash pile. I came here for a reason."
With that, he casually patted Johnny on the head with his bloodstained hand.
Johnny flinched hard and leaned away.
"Hey, not the head. That is not something I want touching me."
Axel waved dismissively.
"Fine. Keep talking."
Johnny let out a breath and continued.
"If there is trash, there has to be something that clears it. That thing is Alioth. It roams the Void and erases everything it touches."
His voice dropped.
"Not killing, erasing. Completely. Even someone like Deadpool would not come back from that."
"I am not an idiot," Axel replied.
With a sharp motion, he pushed Johnny's head down onto the steering wheel.
A dull crack sounded.
From the back seat, Wade burst into laughter.
"Nice!"
Johnny lifted his head with a grimace and continued, clearly choosing his words more carefully.
"In short, Alioth is the worst thing here. The one we can never fight."
He tightened his grip on the wheel.
"And the second is Cassandra."
"Cassandra?" Logan asked, frowning as he pushed Deadpool's hand away again.
Johnny nodded firmly.
"Yes. Here, you are either food for Alioth or a tool for Cassandra."
His expression darkened.
"Cassandra Nova. A complete lunatic with power that makes no sense. Twisted, cruel, and dangerous."
He exhaled slowly.
"I do not care what she does to me. Tear me apart, crush me, it does not matter. I just want a chance to take her down."
Deadpool leaned forward, amused.
"You are completely unhinged, and I respect that."
Johnny gave a satisfied nod.
"Glad you understand."
He opened the window again, spat out once more, then closed it.
"Now I feel better."
Axel clapped lightly, a faint grin on his face.
"Impressive speech."
Deadpool immediately leaned forward and slapped Axel's hand in a high five.
"Alright, Johnny, enough drama. What exactly can she do?"
Johnny raised a hand and flipped him off without looking.
"She is as close to omnipotent as it gets. She can reshape matter, twist reality, even alter your body with a thought."
He glanced back briefly.
"If she wanted, she could turn you into something else entirely before you even realized it."
Logan's expression turned serious.
"If she is that powerful, why has she not shown up already?"
He paused, then looked ahead sharply.
"Watch it. There is someone in front of us."
Through the dust-filled air of the wasteland, a bald woman in a beige coat stood directly in their path.
Johnny squinted.
"Who the hell would be out here…?"
His voice cut off.
"Wait… no… no, no, no!"
He slammed the brakes.
The car jolted violently. Logan and Wade were thrown forward.
Wade exaggerated the fall, angling himself straight toward Axel with a grin.
Axel frowned and shifted aside. At the same time, he flicked his finger forward.
A sharp metallic sound echoed.
Wade's expression twisted instantly.
"Oh, that is new!"
He shot through the windshield and crashed onto the ground outside.
Logan slammed into the front seat with a grunt.
"What the hell are you doing?" he snapped.
Johnny did not answer.
He was staring straight ahead, his face pale.
The bald woman was already walking toward them.
By the time Wade staggered back to his feet, she had reached the car.
She stopped in front of Axel, her gaze fixed on him with clear curiosity.
After a moment, she smiled.
"Cassandra Nova. It is a pleasure to meet you."
Her eyes lingered on Axel.
"Especially you. Even after all this time in the Void, you are… new."
She tilted her head slightly.
"So tell me… what is your name?"
