Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: Auntie!

Chapter 15: Auntie!

He found a ditch and threw the knife in. After taking the still-shaken Danisha home, he told her not to tell her family about it before taking his aunt into Lotus Town. The country road was lined with lush green scenery. Jessica, sitting in the back, was still a little dazed. Was this really the same Daniel who always seemed so docile and let her bully him?

"What's wrong? Are you scared out of your wits?! What if you fall down if you sit so wide!"

Daniel glanced at his aunt's charming face in the rearview mirror, still looking bewildered, and started teasing her.

"Dan, I feel like I don't recognize you anymore!"

"What don't know? I'm the punching bag you bully all day long!"

Jessica hesitated for a long time before leaning forward and slowly saying, "But what you did today scared me. I never expected you to cut someone with a knife without even blinking. I didn't even expect you to come!"

"Haha, for the princess, shouldn't the prince stand up for her? Besides, you're the only one who can bully me. If anyone else tries to bully me, I'll throw them into the river to feed the turtles!"

Seeing that his aunt seemed a bit timid today, Daniel couldn't help but want to take advantage of her.

Jessica's heart raced upon hearing this. She had just noticed how incredibly cool her nephew looked when he was angry, especially the way he held the knife horizontally – it was so manly. What did he mean by that? Was he trying to imply that he wasn't pursuing a girl in her class, or was he implying that only she could bully him, and that his docile demeanor was simply out of tolerance? The thought made her heart flutter.

"Let me tell you a joke!"

Seeing that his aunt was silent again, Daniel couldn't resist teasing her.

"You can tell jokes? I've never heard of that before! Tell me!"

Jessica felt that she was becoming less and less familiar with this relative she had known for more than ten years.

After coughing twice, Daniel said seriously, "There was a little boy who cried for most of the day after being beaten by his mother. When his father came home, he rushed up to him and asked, 'Why did you marry such a fierce woman?' His father gave him a resentful look and said, 'Isn't it all because of you!'"

Jessica burst out laughing immediately upon hearing this. The joke could be described as somewhat risqué, but it wasn't exactly risqué either. However, it was a fairly realistic joke.

"Hey, you're so mean! Aren't you saying they got married because she got pregnant? Tell me another one!"

Jessica has relaxed a lot and has somewhat forgotten the doubts in her heart.

"I'll give you a riddle this time! If you guess right, I'll buy you whatever clothes you like. But what if you guess wrong?"

Daniel made the suggestion with a sly grin.

Jessica had also heard that Daniel had made money these past two days, but she had nothing of value in her pocket except five dollor. Somewhat disappointed, she said, "I don't have anything good, what can I gamble with!"

"I don't ask for much if I lose, just give me a kiss!" Daniel said with a smile.

When Jessica heard that this kid wanted to take advantage of her, she instinctively wanted to pinch him a few times, but she felt a little reluctant to do it. She thought that a kiss wouldn't hurt, since she was an elder, and besides, if she won, she could buy all the clothes she liked. So she nodded in agreement.

"There were four people playing mahjong together, so why did the police take away five people when they arrived?" Daniel chuckled inwardly.

"You little brat, you think you can outwit me with riddles? Back in the day, all I ever looked at online was this kind of thing."

"Was that their friend, and he was watching from there?" Jessica frowned as expected.

"wrong!"

After guessing several times, Jessica became a little impatient and finally had to give in and ask, "Then why is that?"

"Because the person they were hitting was named Mahjong," Daniel immediately burst into laughter, having succeeded.

Upon hearing this, Jessica immediately felt like she had been tricked, and said defiantly, "You're making it sound like you're lying. Give me another question."

"Why are you still betting when you've already lost!"

Daniel knew that provocation was the most effective tactic against his fiery aunt!

"I'll kiss you once I lose, okay? I refuse to believe that with my intelligence, I'm no match for you, you bookworm."

Jessica immediately shouted, but she also thought the game was very fun!

"Hehe, you said it! Let me give you an easier one. There's a word that no matter how learned a professor or a teacher specializing in English, from ancient times to the present, anyone has mispronounced it. Can you guess what it is?"

Daniel said with a smile.

"Impossible! No one has ever pronounced it correctly, not even in ancient times! You're definitely not saying a normal word!"

Jessica pondered for a long time but still didn't know the answer.

"Really, I'm not lying! I'll tell you the answer if you admit defeat!"

"Forget it, I won't guess this time. What is it?"

"That's the word 'wrong'! Elementary school teaches it to be pronounced 'rong,' who would pronounce it correctly! Haha."

Daniel laughed triumphantly.

Jessica felt a sense of defeat. How could she not have thought of such a simple principle? The two chatted and laughed as they guessed riddles along the way. By the time they arrived in town, Jessica's face was long and drawn. She had lost eleven riddles and hadn't won a single one.

One person was in high spirits, while the other muttered to herself as she strolled around shopping. Daniel noticed that his aunt seemed captivated by a necklace, her gaze lingering on it. A quick glance suggested it was made of silver; the delicate craftsmanship shone beautifully under the light, though it was a bit short. It should be a hinged chain. While shopping, Daniel observed carefully and discovered that besides the anklet, his aunt was also lingering over a uniquely styled pair of super-short denim shorts, though she only looked and didn't dare say anything.

After arranging all the things to be given to her grandfather, Daniel asked her to keep an eye on things. He then secretly went to the store and bought the two items. When he returned, Jessica was still muttering that she must have fallen into the toilet, her resentful little face particularly endearing.

"Don't drive too fast! It's dangerous."

Because his maternal grandfather's house was quite far from the town, and it was getting late, Daniel drove at 50 km/h as soon as he got on the road. Even this speed startled Jessica.

"If you're scared, hold on to me. You might fall and get disfigured! It's getting late, we need to hurry back so the old folks won't worry."

Daniel spoke with great conviction, but what he really wanted was to take the opportunity to experience it for himself.

Jessica hesitated for a moment before reaching out and wrapping her arms around Daniel's waist! She felt a little embarrassed because her large breasts pressed tightly against his back. Daniel, on the other hand, felt incredibly good; the feeling of those two large, soft mounds of white flesh against his back was extremely comfortable, and even through his clothes, he could feel their elasticity.

After riding for a while, Jessica simply rested her head on Daniel's shoulder, and the two looked like a couple. Daniel was overjoyed to experience the greatness of his aunt, while Jessica's mind was a bit of a mess. She seemed to have developed some inexplicable feelings for this nephew, a feeling akin to falling for someone. Thinking about what had happened today, it all felt like a dream!

Daniel's biggest worry right now is how to fulfill those dozen or so kisses. His grandparents go to bed early! Maybe something will happen tonight. When his aunt sees him taking out the thing she wants, will she reward him with a sweet kiss?
